I would give this place zero stars. As I waited for a friend to find the place, I was in the parking lot… Not even three minutes waiting for her. An old bald guy with bad teeth kept pacing outside… I got nervous when he finally charged at my car with a piece of metal in his hand saying«you can’t park here». I told him I was planning on entering when my friend found the place. He kept yelling… I was not even in the parking lot 3 minutes… I counted. I called the police since he was that threatening. Do not, DONOT go there. Really, for your own safety– DONOT. He is scary. Cant speak for the store but I could tell he ran it…

This is my go to packie, since I live right down the street. The older man that works there has seen me enough times to no longer ask for my ID. Tonight we were running late so we decided to call, after my boyfriend was spoken to extremely rudely, we decided to continue there anyway, since we would definitely make it there before the 11:00 close time. We pulled into the parking lot at 10:52. I opened the door to be greeted by the older man I know, I said hi, to which he replied angerly«we’re closed!» I replied«are you messing with me? It’s not 11.» Then he shut the door in my face«I said, we’re closed!» 3 other people behind me at the door wanting to go in. It’s cool, I’m sure businesses don’t want to make any money or anything. Safe to say that I won’t be back here. There are plenty of other stores in the area that won’t be so rude. Such a shame because this location was so convenient for myself and my friends.

If i could, i would give this store zero stars. i went into this store with my friend for the first time yesterday. At first, we were pleasantly pleased with their selection of wine, but within the first two minutes of us being there, the man asked us if we will be buying anything, and I told him we were still browsing. His response was basically that he had«a lot» of things to do down stairs, and didn’t have time to wait for us to browse. he, in other words, told us to buy something or leave… within the first two minutes of us walking through the door. It was incredibly rude, and i told him so on my way out the door… although I had to bite my tongue on a few other things. perhaps it was that me and my friend were pleasantly discussing which wine to purchase… he seemed miserable, so maybe he didn’t like the idea of other people having happy lives… I’m not sure. either way, i think customer service, and selling products should come before whatever task he to complete in the basement. I will never go here again

I like this liquor store. It’s the only package store close to me that sells cigars along with a good selection of craft beers and wines. Hours are great and location is okay. I’m giving this store only two stars for two reasons. 1) The people who work there are grumpy and rude. I’ve been going here for years and always enter the store with a positive attitude. I always feel when I leave«why did I just give these grumpy old guys my money?» The odd thing is that it’s not just one person who is consistently grumpy… It’s all the people who work there. It must be a prerequisite for hiring? 2) Second reason they get a two stars out of of 5 is parking. They do have parking. but when leaving you can only exit from the back and must take a right hand turn. That’s a pain in the rear end. If management can please improve their customer service this place would be a solid 4 star joint.

Either I was overcharged on purpose, or their prices are about $ 4 more expensive for a Miller Lite 12 pack. When I called later to inquire on the phone about beer pricing, the guy, presumably the owner Gilbert from earlier, said in the snarling fashion mentioned by the other review that pricing beer on the phone is not something that they do. AND he hung up on me. Apparently they also do not price the shelves — nothing is priced — so it is obviously whatever the guy at the counter FEELS like charging you at that moment. I was dupped — don’t do the same. I am inspired enough by their ridiculous prices and gruff attitude to cruise by the Better Business Bureau site too. I did not want a fight; I wanted beer. Save your money and go someplace that is not Gilbert’s. The location stinks.
