With out a doubt this is the best butcher shop on Long Island. Andy the owner is always recommending specials. They make their own food for you to take home and cook without needing preparation (other than taking it out of the bag and cooking (NOT heating)). Next time you are looking fro something special to cook this is the place to do it. Other wise go to Ludlow Bistro just down the road. ;-)
As far as the parking it is always busy but finding a space is easy.

This is the best butcher shop on Long Island. The guys here can order you just about anything that you want for any occasion.
The meat is always very fresh, and there’s a wide selection of other things here if you choose not to order something special. They have pork spiral sausages, Italian and Sweet Sausages, beef franks, steaks of all kinds, chicken, pre-​made kabobs and thick cut pork chops.
This is in the same shopping center as Dix Hills Bagels, so the parking situation is bad. Like I said in my other review, I have parked in handicapped spaces because there was simply no other place to park on quite a few occasions. –1 star for the parking situation.
