Kris M must be on some kind of Illegal drugs to compare Pizza King to Domino’s or even mention the two in the same sentence. This is a small place with The absolute best Calzone you will ever have. The Pizza is also the best. It’s a pizza place people not a restaurant they don’t pretend to be anything else. The owners are two brothers who are great guys I’ve been going there since 1977! If you want great Pizza this is the place. And the dinners are good too! If you want to be treated like a number and pay double go to Mama Sbarros nearby they will have no problem ripping you off. Pizza King is a great place and I highly recommend!!!

Nice and simple plain pizza! Sometimes the pizza places that only serve regular pizza are the best. This place has an amazing regular slice! Loved it.

Pizza King has a warm and cozy vibe to the place. When you walk in, you already feel at home. Most outstanding regular pie I’ve ever had. My boyfriend and two friends were raving about it as well. The smell of penne vodka permeated the room and there is no doubt in my mind that I NEED to try that next… I’ll be back to Pizza King without a doubt.

Stopped by on my quest to find the best local penne alla vodka, and it was their turn. Service was friendly as we discussed the constructive zen of vodka sauce, and I also picked up one of their calzones, which they fry in the Neapolitan style, then bake. There was quite a bit of sauce, which he admitted was a little more than usual apportionment. I found the noodles to be slightly overcooked(they definitely weren’t al dente), and the sauce to be slightly tasteless and in need of either some Italian seasoning or shredded parmesan cheese. Perhaps a day or so to let the flavors ripen in my refrigerator will make it a better leftover dish. I will update this review as merited.

We used to go. They had a coupon. The shop isn’t very pretty, so it was a good place to take kids and not worry about disturbing others. But, the owners were very cheap. We were regulars, and yet he always complained if we asked for plates. No value for customer loyalty.

My expectations weren’t that high considering where its located but still… what do you expect when a pie cost $$ 9.00. I was on a mission today… hit every pizza parlor(yeah parlor you read correct) on Bay Shore Rd. I really loved the inside of this place… i felt at home. The owner was great was talking about tsunamis and storms… he had no idea over 300k were killed in the boxing day tsunami in 2004. I blew his mind and his pizza well… i want to give it 2 stars but I have had much better 2 star pizza. salty garlic knots. A close friend of mind says the meatball heros are great… and as i was eating there was a few heros orders so thats a mighty Indicator.
