Carriage House Resort Motel

Very accommodating staff and excellent location! The pool area is private with a lot of nice sun exposure. It’s a close walk to the beach and all of the restaurants on Deerfield beach. The rooms are dated so if you’re not picky about style, this hotel is a great place to stay for the price! This trip was my first time staying at the carriage house and I’ll definitely return. I recommend it to others who will be spending time in Deerfield beach!

The nicest things about this motel were the price, the people, the free parking and the location. It is a big stretch for them to call themselves a resort motel, however. They did upgrade the rooms with central air, tile floors and modern kitchens. However, a resort would not (1) require you to bring your own shampoo, (2) offer no beach towels but instead direct you to a store nearby to buy your own (3) admonish you not to eat on the bed or sit on it with a wet bathing suit and not to use their towels to take off your make-​up (they provide rags for that) and (4) offer only one bath towel per person. Other than these quirky things, the people were lovely, the small pool was adequate and the Deerfield Beach pier was within walking distance if you like to fish (which I do). As long as your expectations aren’t too high, this is a bargain and does provide real value.

Just had the best one week staying here at this lovely resort motel. Its practically one block from the beach and close to some amazing restaurants in Deerfield beach. Seriously you do not even need a car if you just want to hang around the beach area.
The rooms are not fancy but well equipped, spacious with free wi-​fi. Staff was excellent. Suzana and Leslie made our stay very comfortable and they were always willing to help.

Fantastic stay so far, rented a 2 bedroom apartment perfect for our family of 5. Very clean daily maid service and the beds are firm and comfy. The pool is clean not huge but a perfect size for this place. Although we are facing A1A it gets quiet at night, very easy to sleep after the half block walk right to the beach. The patio area is covered in most areas and we have a patio table with umbrella and chairs. Wonderful services and friendly staff. A big thumbs up!

It is Not a hip boutique hotel.
It is Not a five star luxury beach resort.
It Is a small family owned hotel with a loyal following off sun birds who fill the joint full from December– May. There’s a pool and it’s also 2 blocks from the beach.
It’s accessible by public Transportation: tri rail from Fll or PBI & short cab or super cheap public bus if your as broke as we are. If you’re a high roller, Free parking for your rental car.
Four Stars for location, friendly staff, pool, Parking, and impeccable cleanliness.
The fifth star is for all the little extras: loaner beach chairs & umbrellas, fridge & glass ware in every room. Clean, new shower curtains & drapes & bedspreads, decent towels & HUGE closet space. I really notice stuff like this and appreciate it .
Oh, and did I mention that it’s a bargain in this area? (Please stay that way!)

When we booked this place for $ 65 a night off season, our friends thought we were NUTS. They were all 100% sure that we were headed for some awful little cardboard box for 3 nights. We had read the reviews on Yahoo and Travelocity, and we were confident that this place would be amazing.
This place not only met expectations, it exceeded them! It is a family owned, absolutely IMMACULATE little hotel with incredible customer service and the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever been in (and we usually stay at Hilton or Marriot-​esque hotels). They even have those vinyl zip-​up mattress protectors (I always check for bed bugs when we travel), so they have clearly taken steps to help prevent this type of thing! I wish the fancier high-​end hotels would do the same!
The best part about this place? The amazing location. 4 minute walk to the beach, no joke.
