Wow… This place was awesome. Amazing Phillys, friendly service, and all the awesome little things that remind you of home if you’re from up North or Philly. I was happy to see Herrs Old Bay chips, reminded me of MD. Don’t let the location fool you, as it is inside a gas station. Place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and go!

My office ordered 3 separate orders for delivery at 11:35 am and it’s 1:02 pm now and our food still hasn’t arrived. We called to find out where are food was and they said it was out for delivery. I can’t believe how crappy the service is

Ok, let me warn you now: This place is in a gas station. My wife and I almost left. I was craving a good cheesesteak so we gave it a shot. After eating one of these things, this place could have been inside a bathroom in a maximum security prison and I would still gladly go time and time again. The inside was clean and they have a handful of stools and a couple counters to eat at. Plan on getting take out during peak times. We went around 5:30/6:00PM on a Friday and had plenty of room to enjoy. This place makes the freshest, most delicious cheesesteaks around. I had a make your own: Steak, bacon, hot pepper relish(incredible by the way), onions, and mushrooms with the whiz topping. My wife has a straightforward cheesesteak with onions. Mine was bursting with flavor, had a bit of heat from the relish, and the perfect smoke flavor from the chopped bacon. All ingredients chopped finely so each bit was perfectly balanced. Owner is super nice and it is obvious that he cares about the quality of what he is serving up. Please, go here, give this guy the business he deserves so we can enjoy these cheesesteaks that are so delicious, they should be illegal.

Best cheesesteak outside of philly! Really wish they’d combine themselves with the Pretzel place in east Boca! Only negatives… My husband went in for pizza fries for me and unfortunately they were terrible :(. Real«pizza fries» use melted mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce. These had cheese whiz and I think tomato paste? Really were not good… But the sandwich sure made up for it!

This is by far the best Philly Cheesesteak in SoFlo. As a Philadelphian, I started to give up on trying to find a decent cheesesteak… UNTILNOW! Not only are the Philly cheesesteaks and the fries w/ranch + bacon amazing, all the staff is super nice. Their buns are delicious and the steak is extremely flavorful. They turned the spot in the corner of a Chevron station into a very chill hang-out spot with great conversation.

Hidden Gem inside a Chevron! I can’t really say anything that hasn’t been said but this was certainly the best Philly cheese steak I’ve ever had! It was not too busy, service was fast. It’s about 12 stools in front of counters in a gas station but it works. They only sell cheese steaks fries, chips, and drinks so they really don’t need a lot of space. The price is expensive $ 10 for a regular cheese steak, $ 12 for specialized one, loaded fries(large) will set you back $ 7. That said it’s completely justified and worth it! Why? Okay so getting back to the best cheese steak I’ve ever had… First off probably the only place in South Florida where you can get the actual rolls used in the creation of cheese steaks in Philadelphia. Cheese(I loved the white American.) was plentiful, the meat so flavorful! Oh and those fries cleverly named«the bomb» really are the bomb! Loaded with cheese wiz, ranch, and bacon. SOGOOD! Oh as a side note I have to try cheese wiz on my cheese steak next time! Can’t do that anywhere else in south Florida!

I hear several recommendations from coworkers and decided to check it out for myself. To my surprise I even ran into the famous Burguer Beast who recomended then with a great big smile, so you know it’s gotta be good. I order the touch ton with some small fries. The sandwich arrive quickly and it was just a glorious site. The Philly pack with generous amount of meat with all the goodies like wit, peppers, American. The fries were crispy and just right. the staff was friendly and took my order quick. It’s a great little spot delivering excellent quality food. you can count, I’ll be back.

Best Philly cheesesteak in South Florida! Only one that even comes close is Sonny’s in Hollywood — but DFP edges them out on all fronts. Yes — it’s inside a gas station, but who cares??? Take em to go or eat at the counter — these are the best sandwiches!

Located inside a high priced Chevron gas station you’ll find this delightful little taste of Philly. Dedicated exclusively to the art of Philly Cheesesteaks, they buy their meat directly from philly… So it’s pretty authentic. The food is +A, delicious served pipping hot right off the grill. Generous portions of meat & cheese on the sandwiches and the fries are a HUGE plus! Prices are very reasonable coming in a little over $ 15 for a sandwich, fries & a drink(Big enough to share) On tonight’s visit after being easily convinced by a friend at our routine sushi spot we decided to drive out from Weston just to try this so called«perfect» philly. Upon walking into the gas station we were welcomed right away and I was recommended the«Touch Tone/John Galt» philly which was FREAKINGDELICIOUS with onions, peppers, relish and topped with American cheese… It was a real treat. We ordered the perfectly named«Bomb» fries since they were indeed the bomb! I gave it 4 Stars for the following reason: the location kinda sucks, there’s a couple counters with stools around the kitchen so it’s very hot & uncomfortable. I would much rather prefer to have normal seats in a cool area… But don’t let this stop you from trying out the food, the food is the real star!

Ok. hands down these Philly Cheese Steaks are the best I have EVER had. The quality of all ingredients used is top notch. I prefer to eat there when I can because the owner, Steve, is very caring, detail oriented, and passionate about making a great product and a great overall ‘foodie’ experience. I do wish they would move into a larger facility /restaurant(close to the current one) and the prices were a tad lower but bottom line. no matter where you live; you NEED to make a trip here and try their food! Yum yum yum… I’m from Philly and I haven’t had as good a cheese steak here in south Florida as I had today. Real Amoroso rolls and plenty of flavor. My friend is a vegetarian and ordered a sandwich with a few types of peppers and onions(she doesn’t eat mushrooms) and cheese. She couldn’t stop raving about how good hers was and can’t wait to get another one. I can’t wait to go back.

We visited this location a couple times in the past and then it moved from the Chevron Gas Station to a pub. Not quite a family place so we stopped visiting. Recently noted they moved back and under the same owners. Space is limited but worth squeezing in. The menu was reduced to concentrate on what they are known for … Cheesesteaks. These are best eaten hot and fresh with some onions and whiz. They actually do two levels of whiz to make it a very cheesy experience. They now accept credit cards and you pay with them versus the station using a tablet. Owner was present and handling the foods movement as well as talking with clients. More than one associate checked on us and kids during the visit. I can offer only one possible critique. They don’t offer a sandwich under my name that would be created with a mix of cheeses, onions, and mushrooms. I could see it working equally well on chicken or the prized cheesesteak.

Very good philly! Came here for dinner after class from FAU. Usually I go to swifty’s with my friends but heard about this place from Unilocal.Compared to swifty’s I feel like this place offers more of a classic philly with whiz like the OG’s from philly! Steak is seasoned and very juicy! Bomb fries are the bomb!!!

You must try this place. I just hope it does not get out of control. Yes, it is in the Chevron station as everyone says. The place is clean, has nice counters, and serves the best cheese-steak with the real«wiz» cheese sauce. I’m still in bliss.. . The meat is from frozen cuts. Nothing wrong with that. It is sooo good when grill-master is done with it. Friendly staff too. Will be coming back for more!

Great spot for an authentic Philly cheesesteak. I am from Philly and I consider myself a connoisseur. Three most important things to consider when having cheesesteak: 1. Well seasoned/prime cut meat — check that box 2. The right roll(soft enough to absorb flavor but tough enough to contain the sauce and cheese) — check that box as well(they use amoroso rolls shipped in from philly) 3. And finally, the appropriate ratio of cheese to meat — absolutely perfect here. The staff is friendly and definitely aim to please. I had the opportunity to meet the owner Steve, who’s main concern was keeping it authentic and I have to say they have achieved their goal. This is the best cheesesteak I’ve had since I have moved to So. Florida. One last thing… they are located in a gas station, which I think adds to the experience. You sort of feel like you are part of a selective group who know where the real deal is. I definitely recommend.

Not only do the Phillies taste amazing and genuine, but the the people who work here are amazing. You can watch the workers cook your meal and it’s very clean(don’t let the fact that this place is in a gas station prevent you from coming here). The Phillies melt in your mouth and the fries are cooked to perfection. You can come here to enjoy amazing food and great company.

I know they reopened this place and I still haven’t been able to confirm if this is the original owners. We have been dying to try this place, always heard good things so the boys picked up about 6 of them today and we tried them. Had the American Wiz one and the Provolone to choose from. I went with the Wiz one and honestly, it’s good but it’s nothing amazing. I’ve had Philly Cheesesteaks from Philly and I hate to sound pretentious but I really wasn’t blown away. I’m mad I missed them before they closed because I have a hard time believing that it is this mediocre.

This place! I absolutely almost jumped out of my skin when I found out they were back! And not just back in biz… back in the gas station! Yes you read that right… this is the best philly this side of… philly and its in the chevron! Oh glorious day! Worth the 45 minute drive from Plantation. EVERYTIME!
