Our mom was at the Forum Assisted Living for 20 months. During this time we always questioned the care and the lack of compassion of many of the nurses that work there. My mom was happy so we ignored so much!!! We moved my mom out on Saturday October 31st and so I feel it is our responsibility to share our story. This review is to say please don’t do what we did! Be an advocate for your loved one. The Forum is not a place that cares and that attitude starts at the top. The leadership never wanted to address any of our concerns with us. When we did have the chance to talk to the AL manager, she listened and said she would address the concerns BUT then did absolutely nothing after we left the office. We shared our concerns with the executive director but that too fell on deaf ears. I hope if you consider the Forum you will please call me and I can share more stories to convince you this is not a place for seniors that need attention, love and care!!! Lisa 214−636−9439

Our grandmother fractured her leg and required skilled therapy for an extended period of time. Here, she really enjoys the company and feels happy interacting with folks in similar situations. The Forum was recommended to us by our family physician. After we visited her at the Forum, we knew we had made the right choice. The administration and staff are incredibly kind and supportive and very thorough in answering questions. They are all extremely understanding and proactive in meeting our family’s needs. Our grandmother moved into the Assisted Living Facility two months ago. Since then, she has made a number of great friends. She is involved in a plethora of activities and is absolutely thrilled to live at the Forum. We are thankful our grandmother is doing so well and is exceptionally happy. The support staff is remarkably friendly: they treat her like their own family. From time to time we have dinner with her in the dining room, and the food here is TERRIFIC: the dining staff is warm and welcoming and the residents are always happily chatting away. We are abundantly grateful that our grandmother has found a second home here at the Forum!
