Jaycee Park

It’s super clean and quiet here. Most of the time, My dog and I are the only ones here! They have doggy pick up bags in front and a water fountain for me and a small fountain for the pup. Great place to play fetch!

Good dog park, with gravel & grass parts; fountains during the season & tables to sit.
Good play area for the kids.
About a 10 yard zipline which is real fun for kids 12 & under.
Small climbing wall & trees to climb.
Plenty of space to throw the ball around.

I stopped by here with my puppy when visiting from out of town. The park is clean and cute albeit small (you could walk its perimeter in 5 minutes). It features a small outdoor skating rink, a playground and some picnic space. The dog area is fully fenced in and a decent size. Since it was early morning, it was just my dog and one more whose owner was pleasant and friendly. I think it would be a good spot for dogs to run around but not enough space if you’re looking to also give your dog a trail to run on or a long walk.

Went to this dog park for the first time ! I love it !! Many many dogs for my dog to play with. Very spacious. Has a park for your children. Friendly people. Will definitely bring my dog back here

First and foremost, people probably know of this place as a dog park. That’s how we learned about it, from our neighbors who take their dog there to exercise. We don’t have a pooch, but save yourself some $ and bring your dog here because they have a fenced in dog run area… and it’s free… unlike some of the other parks in the area requiring outrageous membership fees.
For the kiddos, there’s a lovely and safe play area. It was recently renovated with new play structures and updated toys for wee ones. The boys beg us to come here because of the tire swing ride. It’s kind of like a zip line.
As for the rest of the park it’s clean as a whistle, with a large soccer field and sidewalks for riding bikes. A great place for picnics, there is a covered area one can reserve for family gatherings or other events.
I’m surprised there is only one review of this place until now. This sweet lovely jewel of a gathering place, for the entire family including Fido, shouldn’t be ignored.

For being a free park this place isn’t so bad. They have water, bags to clean up after your dog and some obstacles for the pooches to play with.
The park is big enough to throw a ball around and play fetch. Also plenty of space for the dogs to run around with each other.
The park seems to be kept fairly clean. Most people are good about picking up after their dog, a couple aren’t.
The majority of the owners are good and keep their dog under control and also realize when dogs are playing versus getting upset. I’ve only had an issue with one owner, note I didn’t say the dog because there are only bad owners, who didn’t care what his dog did. I’ve had other people tell me they’ve had issues with the same person before I told them anything about the guy.
Really the only downside is that it can get crowded fairly quickly with bigger dogs. I’ve got a boston terrier so she has lots of space and she always has a good time playing. It’s a great place and everyone is friendly.
