Aerotech has been to our house twice this year already and both repairs went beautifully. The first was to replace a control panel on our Wolf range and to diagnose a burner issue. The Aerotech person resolved the burner problem within minutes and ordered the control panel. As soon as the part came in, he scheduled a time to replace it – easy and seamless. The second call was for our Samsung dryer. This one was more complicated because our dryer is stacked on our washer in a really difficult to access alcove, and if we unstack them, it requires two people. Because the Aerotech person has worked on so many machines through the years, he didn’t need to unstack them to diagnose the problem(saving us a substantial amount of money). Once the part was ordered and the repair person and the second individual came to fix the problem, they were completely professional even though the machines are really tricky to move, and while the repair man was fixing the machine, the second person used a vacuum to clean dryer lint from the inside and outside of our washer and dryer(not just sitting idle waiting to re-stack the machine). The cost of the parts and labor was exactly what the repair man led me to believe it would be during his first visit. The whole process could not have been simpler.

These are the guys that Samsung gives you to deal with for warranty repair. They came out for repair on our washing machine months ago when it overflowed and water went everywhere. The guy that came out was pretty scruffy, but seemed to have fixed the problem. Months later the washer won’t drain. Samsung had told me that my last repair was all I could get under warranty so I called AAA repair. This guy was awesome. He showed me what had happened. The previous repairman(Aerotech) had installed the motor/pump with the wire in a place where it rubbed every time it was in a spin cycle. Over time the coating on the wire was worn through and the wire shorted out. The short caused the control panel(buttons to select what wash cycle you want) to burn up. He showed me a charred area about 4″ diameter as well as some melted parts. He said it could’ve easily started a fire in my home. I called Samsung back and they agreed to do more warranty repair since washer is only 2 ½ years old. They sent same company/guy out to fix again. I expressed concern about potential fire with the washer based on last time. He assured me that he fixed it differently this time. While here, he asked to use my restroom. Didn’t want him to, but didn’t know what else to say. When he left I realized he must’ve had an explosion in there. Disgusting! Also, apparently he used my bath towels he found on the floor of my laundry room to clean up his nasty mess with my washer. Seems like he’d bring his own towels to clean up. Felt stuck to use Aerotech due to warranty, but would never recommend them if you can help it.
