Very cute and very friendly family business. Unfortunately we had to leave and go to another farm because none of their trees were full or big enough.

This place is great! Two years since we began our annual trek out to DeKalb for our tree and we love it. Wonderful family-owned place, super friendly, lots to choose from and hassle-free. We enjoy our annual drive out to this place. See you in two months!

Wonderful family-place to cut down a tree. They shake it out & net it for you. Provide plenty of twine to affix to your car roof. Owners Bob & Vickey are a class-act. Have one of Bob’s complimentary oatmeal cookies & some cocoa when you pay!

In need of a new place to chop down a Christmas tree, we headed out to Camelot. Our usual place(Mar — cough, cough — mion) has been so light on quality trees the past few years that we had to try elsewhere. From the friendly guy greeting us at the front and explaining how everything works to the guys offering to saw off any lower branches and then shake out and bail our freshly-hacked tree, this was a top-notch operation. When you’re finished, you drive back to the front, enter the warming house to pay and enjoy gratis peanut butter cookies, coffee and hot chocolate. All trees were $ 50, regardless of type or size. The most impressive thing was the quality of the trees. We had our first«maybe» tree 2 minutes into the field. And then another. And another. At the other place, we have literally wandered around for an hour or more looking for an «acceptable» tree. This year, our 8′ frasier fir was much more than«acceptable». And had we spent more than 15 minutes, we easily could have found lots more great trees.

Always looking for little ways to pay homage to my hometown, I decided to get my holiday tree this year at Camelot Tree Farm. We had a fantastic time today, on our adventure through the trees… this place has a good amount of trees to select from, they let you borrow a saw & let you do your thing. No pressure, and they will help you if you need it or let you do it yourself. They will shake and bail the tree for you and tie it to the roof of your car for us city slickers who have to drive all the way back to Chicago. All the trees are $ 50 each regardless of type or size. They also have wreaths and garland in their little red shack where they’ll give you hot chocolate or coffee and some oatmeal cookies after you cut your tree. Cash only, so come prepared. Great family gathering event & I look forward to coming back again next year.

Looking for a place to create Christmas memories with your family? We love this Christmas tree farm. Located in DeKalb, it’s rural setting adds to the ambiance of this family-owned farm. With a huge selection of trees to choose from, you will enjoy chopping down your own Christmas tree. They provide saws and tree bundling and twine to tie it to the roof of your care. The trees are all $ 50, and the quality is great! When you’re done cutting the tree, drive down to the warming house, where you’ll pay and enjoy free hot cocoa, coffee and homemade cookies. We’ve been going for five years now, and it’s such a great experience, we don’t plan to go anywhere else… ever!
