WOW!!! I’m so impressed, especially for sushi found in a gas station. I’m from Florida, so I’m pretty picky about my sushi. Not only was the sushi so fresh, but it tasted amazing too! What a great find! The owner was so helpful in helping me pick out what sushi rolls to get. He even made one for me! What a great place! Absolutely will be back! Also, those egg rolls are AMAZING!!!

Keeping things at a very solid 4 star. I ordered the Del City Roll and the sushi fried chicken roll. This was my first time trying the fried chicken roll and I didn’t know what to expect BC it is only $ 3.99. The roll is complete with fried chicken pieces, masago, green onion and topped with spicy mayo. For such a cheap, little roll it was a nice change and tastes pretty good. This place hasn’t let me down yet.

Shrimp Fried Rice was Shrimp fired into Sweet Sticky Rice commonly used in the creation of Sushi Rolls. I have traveled all over and never had Fried Rice taste like this. Although it’s not nasty tasting, the flavor is really off. It’s hard to believe that a place that charges $ 8 for a Small amount of Fried Rice would not have Jasmine rice for the creation of this dish. Although there was an abundance of Green Onions, there was little to no Cabbage or any other Veggie’s within. The place was Clean, Curious Staff and well presented. I’ll have to assume the Sushi Rolls are their area of expertise.

Wow. OK, here’s the deal with this place! 26 Jan my co-worker introduced myself and others to this place! She took our orders and went and picked it up, I got the Del City Roll and the Tiger Roll that came with a free side! l elected tor the Miso Soup… When she returned, I was plesantly surprised at how delicious and eye appealing the sushi rolls were, knowing that it came from a gas station. They were so good, I returned 27 Jan after work! To my surprise, Ninja Sushi is litterally in an old gas station nesteled in a small corner inside, I was surprised that it was«litterally» in a gas station. I placed the same order I got the day prior, and was given a ticket to pay at the counter where the gas station employees worked! I was told by the cashier at the gas station, to take the receipt back to Ninja Sushi to show that I paid. I must say that was new to me! Beside that, the food is delicious! Please don’t be turned away at the fact this is in a gas station. If you like sushi, this is the place! I will definitly return.

Not that impressed. but I guess I can’t be because it’s at a gas station. I think my expectations were higher than usual. I had a spicy shrimp tempura roll. nothing fancy.

Don’t judge the sushi from the out side of the gas station. Yes this is great sushi served inside of a middle eastern style gas station. Oddly amazing.

Never would I have thought to find a great sushi place in a gas station. This place is definitely a hidden gem in the city. Food is excellent, the two guys are wonderful. Definitely my favorite place to grab a bite on a Saturday or Sunday.

*Be still my heart* Got the veggie roll. It was 1) the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen and 2) the greatest roll I’ve ever tasted. Literally. Amazing. Worth all 8 bucks. I would eat this everyday if I had such a lavish luxury. Will certainly treat myself to it once a week though.

I regret to say that I expected a little more from the food after reading how great this place was. It’s cool that it’s in a gas station; in fact, I like how low-key it is. The staff is very nice as well, but I can’t say that I’m a fan of the food. :( I ordered the spicy salmon roll and a bowl of miso soup for $ 8, and the roll was bland. There was also something noticeably wrong about the roll… the rice. Get ready for an Asian girl tirade!(This is not stereotypical at all, by the way…) So Ninja uses Chinese rice, not Japanese. Chinese rice is mushier and not seasoned. I had a nice conversation with the owner and told him that I felt the rice needed improvement. He thanked me for the feedback and said that he uses long grain rice since it’s more cost effective and keeps prices lower. Makes sense financially, but proper rice is the very foundation of sushi. Hell, sushi chefs in Japan have ONE job of making rice for two years before they move onto the next step as a sushi chef! Alright, I probably can’t endorse this place as being particularly cost effective either(some rolls cost 10.99 still). However, if you are not too picky about the texture of rice and enjoy foofy rolls with fried-this and cream cheese-that, this might be a good choice for a quick fix.

I take all my new clients to eat here. Great place, even greater sushi chefs. These guys are friendly and always suggest a great roll. Speedy service, can get crowded around lunch. Would recommend this place to any sushi lover.

This order took a long time. Which would not be bad thing but it was expensive and had very little actual flavor. The rice was soggy and clumpy and the chicken looked like the little bits left over from a larger meal. The tiger roll is acceptable as a new flavor but I am still not a fan of it. This is a never never again type place. I should of been warned as it is in a gas station and they prepared the food on the same counter where I ordered it.

OKC seems to filled with books with unappealing covers. At first I was turned off at the location of the restaurant, as it’s inside of a gas station store. There is little seating and it feels very invasive for a sit-down meal. Once you get past all of that, you can start enjoying what they have to offer. The sushi there is much better than I expected. The prices are nice and low and servings are larger than most other sushi places in town. They may not have intricate plate designs, but all that matters is the taste. And believe me, they’ve got the taste down. If you need sushi, but you don’t want to burn a hole in your wallet, definitely try this place out. Oh, and their rice dishes are great as well. Happy eating, ya’ll!

Great places are not always what they seem. This falls into that category and is worth it. Check it out!

Sushi at a gas station?! This place was surprisingly good! I heard about this place from a friend and they told me some of the best sushi they’ve ever had was from a gas station. Low and behold, here it is! This place is definitely a gem. Before going in I expected a wall of some sort to Atleast separate the gas station mart to the restaurant but nope! I was eating my meal right next to the slushy machine. There are some tables for dine in! I ordered the teriyaki chicken and the dragon roll, it came out to roughly 19 $. I liked my meal a lot! The chicken was very moist and tender. The dragon roll was simply delicious! The portion of the rolls were good but the chicken teriyaki with rice was a little smaller than expected but still satisfying! Their presentation for their entrees are on point. Very nice. Quick and friendly service. I would recommend this place for sushi lovers that want quick and delicious sushi!

You would think you couldn’t find good food at a gas station, but this place breaks that trend. The food is great and is made fresh to order. It’s also pretty quick. I usually come with multiple orders and I’ve never had more than a 5 – 7 minute wait.

Affordable, easy, nice staff! Nothing negative to say here. If you’re wanting quick sushi with a great taste this is your place. The 2 guys that run it have been there 3+ years and just need some more ways to get themselves out there. It’s the only one and it’s in Midwest City, but if you’re wanting fresh sushi for lunch, just call ahead and pick it up! Takes less than 5 to 8 minutes for each roll. Yes it is APART of a gas station, but it’s still it’s own restaurant. Not pre-made packaged sushi.

Being from nyc I am very picky about my sushi. was offset by the restaurant being in a gas station but the sushi was fresh and delish. I had The Philly Roll and the spicy tuna along with the crab rangoons. Don’t let the looks of this place fool u the sushi is the bomb!

Best gas station sushi you will ever have. Like most people I was leery about trying sushi from a gas station but after reading all the good reviews decided to try it, mainly because sushi joints are limited in the area. I was not disappointed. The sushi is always great and the fried rice is phenom even though it’s different than normal fried rice. The fried rice is heavy in the soy sauce and garlic.

When you have multiple coworkers who do not know each other independently mention and rave about a sushi station nestled inside a corner gas station, you assume it has been caused by some sort of mass delusion brought on by the CIA testing LSD in the water supply. But, either because they go on about it for ages or because you become infected by the same LSD, you eventually will cave in and give it a shot for yourself. And then you will think«Wow.» This is actually really good sushi. Quality is good, attention to detail is good, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the variety is impressive. Ninja Sushi Station is appropriately named because it is most definitely a station: A 3×5 closet in the corner with a couple tables and chairs in front of it. You even pay for your food at the gas station counter and then bring the receipt back to them. The atmosphere is flat out depressing, but that’s what takeout was made for. And I’d put that sushi up against anywhere in town, that’s for sure. My eel roll had the standard ginger/wasabi additions, but the eel itself had a nice salty/ocean flavor and was combined with some tuna for a very interesting balance. As of August 12, 2013, I must admit that I am now a fan of at least one instance of a phenomenon that says something profound about the current state of American culture(which I will not delve into here for reasons of space and sanity but is worth treatment elsewhere): Gas Station Sushi.
