Between the Sheets

I agree with the other reviewers on here! The service at this store is horrendous. They are extremely overpriced and while the store has beautiful things, you can find the same items for significantly less if you look around. We waited 3 months for a new bed that we were told would take about 6 weeks and a further month for a dresser. In addition we paid about $ 5000 for 2 night stands only to get one new one and the other was a scuffed up floor model — we complained and said we thought we were getting a new one only to be told «No, that’s the last one. sorry you have to have it.» After a lot of back and forth we were told they would give us 5% off the price. Fair enough — at this point we were really over it. However, this happened at the end of September… we have yet to receive anything… credit, refund, or otherwise. We spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this store and honestly I get better service when I walk through target. It’s a complete disgrace how this place is even in business. I will never ever go back! Save your money and don’t be fooled by the pretty décor! Go somewhere else! I wish I would have listened to the reviews on here, I would have saved a lot of money and energy and also had my bedroom finished 2 months earlier! What a disappointment!

All I can say is DO NOT SHOP HERE… It’s quite misleading, you look in the windows and you walk inside and everything is so sparkly and beautiful. It’s mesmerizing, really. So much so that the ridiculous prices don’t even phase you and you begin to buy things. The problem arises when you go home and actually use the items, the quality is awful. When you are in the store and they repeatedly remind you of their no return policy you think that’s ok because you are paying premium prices for high quality luxury items, right? Wrong. Their products are really no better than Home Goods. If you look closely you will find that only a few items are differentiated from Home Goods or WayFair or Overstock. I have bought items here and taken them home just to have them fall apart and then the store and the manager fall back on their no return policy. Also, no replacement and no store credit. Stay away. Go to Neiman Marcus! Or better yet, go to Home Goods, same quality, lower prices and no hassle return/​exchange policy. Just don’t get suckered by this place.

Beautiful store, beautiful things… horrible service and after purchasing thousands of dollars of items — they do not care about you the customer.

Some of my biggest complaints about San Diego is the lack of sophistication, lack of variety, and not enough boutique stores selling original items. It’s always a pleasant surprise to find a store that breaks the mold, Between the Sheets…
I was very pleased to find such a wide range of bedding that was not «mass produced.» Choosing bedding is not an easy task and I received an abundance of help from the staff, particularly Dalia. I would say I fall into the realm of discerning clientele and I was impressed with the patience they showed to get my purchase right! I even had a chance to speak with the owner briefly and it seems they all love what they do which makes it an enjoyable experience.
If I could provide one critique, I would agree with some of the other reviews with respect to returns and only allowing store credit. They do warn you plenty upfront so I was not surprised when I had to return/​exchange a few items. Other than that, great work ladies and I can’t wait to get between the sheets… ok, sorry for the cheesy pun.

Trudy has a unique style of «consultative selling». which resulted in just the right product. She knows design and has an eye for color. I will be back again to work with Trudy on my next room. Not only did I get the perfect high quality product — but know that Trudy was the reason for finding the right solution for my room. It looks modern, timeless, and quality that is second to none. I agree with the other reviews as to buyer beware also shopper beware
I was shopping in their store had pick out and item for purchase and by accident
looked
to see price of another item and one item fell out of the box of four and broke
Store manager or owner chose to let me pay for broken set even though it was much more then my other item. The woman behind the counter thought it was ridiculous for me to pay for something that was a complete accident so she went and asked for some discount which I was given 30%. But that amount was still double the amount of the item I wanted and purchase. Given that I did buy something and it was a accident he could have written it off. I myself I’m a business owner and would have been more forgiving. TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE WILL NEVER GO BACK…
That why I shop at Nordstrom’s and Neiman Marcus. There was no need to make money on a customers accident his cost was certainly not 70% of item.
When will small minded small stores understand that customer service is everything.

This store is amazing the bedding is beautiful and the bath towels are so soft.
The beds in the window are dressed so elegantly. The sales people were very helpful and friendly I purchased several towels and a sheet set. When I checked out they told me that I could not return the merchandise for cash only a store credit.
I liked the items in the store so I figured I could exchange them if I needed to.

BUYER BEWARE! Smiles galore from clerks when purchasing, I can only imagine their grins are from thinking of how easy it is to rip people off. But have a problem with a purchase and all of a sudden the smiles are replaced with arrogance and a big FU. NO product returns.
The products are well merchandised to look great, the store looks charming, but beware the quality of the products is cheap and do not hold up after even a single washing.
Outrageous prices. Poor quality. And unethical sales people and ownership is my experience.
SHOP AT YOUR OWN RISK! You’ve been warned.

Very theatrical décor… extremely well organized sheets cabinet! Please, I want to live here! So neat, and all those sheets of one million cotton thread Egyptian whatever… they are awesome to delicate skin, you will feel like in a cotton cloud of the finest quality. Towels the same, super soft, excellent quality… forget your usual Bath and Beyond… get beyond that and between those sheets now! Even if just to browse the store and see how a good window dresser does a great job, this is a nice store to go. Again, have a heavy loaded credit card when stepping into… no cheap, convince yourself before attempting to get several sets.
