Del Mar Kids

I found this spot yesterday by fluke on my way to the fairgrounds I stopped off at coffee bean for a coffee and saw this spot across the street so decided to go have a look. I was pleasantly surprised and found many cute things I would buy for my twins or gifts for friends. I love many of the brands that they carry (roxy, kickee pants, little giraffe, baby jar, trumpette, splendid, joes jeans ect.). The style is very california boho chic. I didn’t have any issues with the staff, it seemed that one of the 2 was new as I went to make my purchase she had to call another girl over for help. But overall I am a happy customer who will be back for sure.

Best one stop shop for everything! This is the best store! They have children’s clothing, and women’s and now men’s!!! This is my favorite store in San Diego!!!

Well I have never posted a bad review but I had some negative experience with del mar kids that I wanted to share. We got a gift from here for my then 9 months old daughter, and i exchanged for an outfit here around the end of October last year, with the plan that she would use it for the holidays or her birthday which is in mid January. I put the outfit on her for her birthday (for the first time) and my husband noticed a rip in the back. When I took the outfit back, I was told that because it had been close to three months, there was nothing they could do, even if it was a quality issue, because they are a small boutique store and they would have to eat the cost. So I as a customer will have to eat the cost I guess. I understand that it had been a while since I bought the outfit but I expected that the store would stand behind the quality of their products. Moms out there just be aware that if you buy something here make sure you will wear them right away, otherwise you are on your own for any quality issues. To me one of the basic principles of running a store is to stand by the quality of what you sell; del mar kids unfortunately did not succeed on that in my mind.

Over priced, unethical return policy. I will never shop there again and I will let my friends and colleagues know about my poor experience there

Well… all I have to say is it’s kind of sad when the only good reviews of this boutique are from some of the people that work and manage there. This place has a great selection of stylish clothing for children and women, but it is priced a bit too high and the workers are ridiculously snobby. It’s all about customer service in Del Mar and if you want that, I advise you not to come to Del Mar Kids and the Back Room.

WOW! 5 STARS! This boutique has it all! Children’s clothes to women’s clothing, best merchandise without having to make a trip to the mall. Salespeople are so friendly and helpful. Helped me pick out a great new wardrobe for both me and my daughter. Definitely will be back soon!

I love this boutique. It has an amazing selection. I went in for jeans… ladies you know how hard it is to find a great pair of jeans. Let me tell you, they have a huge denim bar that has jeans for every body type. The sales girl helping me went above and beyond. For the people complaining you have to understand. They are a small store and move through inventory quickly. Also if you tell them you are just looking they will still check up on you and make sure youre doing ok. If you dont want that kind of retail expierence go shop at Kohls.

Horrible service!!! Don’t even bother people, it’s not worth it. You can find the same merchandise in the boutiques on Cedros. This is a strip mall boutique with no class.

I have been shopping at Del Mar Kids for many years now and am always able to find what I’m looking for! They have such a great selection of denim and a wonderful variety of brands, ranging from French Connection to Splendid to Rebecca Taylor

Never before have I encountered such a scummy sales staff who were more set on judging my price range than helping me out. I felt like I was being sized-​up by a bunch of vain, trashy vultures.
