ReNae Monette

I called Renae Monette to make an appointment and redeem 2 gift certificates I had purchased. When I called her I told her the certificates were from a couple years ago that I had been saving.
She said, «Well, I don’t know about that.»
I said, «Why?»
She said, «Because they are from a couple years ago.»
I told her, «I paid for them and they are from you because they have your name and your phone number on the certificate. You answered the phone number on the certificate. There is no expiration date on the certificates.»
Then she said, «Do I have to paint a picture for you as to why?»
At that point, I realized I didn’t want someone like her getting anywhere close to my hair. She didn’t even ask me when I purchased the certificates or even make any effort to see what I wanted to have done. I told her that in California when someone purchases a gift certificate you have to honor it, it’s the law.
She was completely rude and nasty to me. On the certificate, it touted her experience and expertise in hair color and that she is a graduate from the Academy of L’Oreal in Paris. She may have experience in hair services, but she surely didn’t have any customer service skills and was completely unprofessional. Such a waste of money…

ReNae has an absolutely beautiful hair salon. The ambiance is a reflection of ReNae herself, who is nothing but a fabulous hairdresser with an amazing personality.
I have gotten my hair cut for years by different professionals but this is the first time that my hair looks the way that it is supposed to — beautiful, full and shapely. She is dedicated to making sure that you are happy and that your hair looks the best that it can possibly look. She not only gives the amount of time and patience that it takes, but truly understands how to style and cut hair from many years of experience.
After getting my hair cut by ReNae, I know that I can never go to anyone else ever again!
