Chris & Company Salon

I recently saw Olivia for the first time at Chris and Company. Right when I walked in I loved how beautiful it was inside. Then when I met Olivia I knew I would be in good hands. Her warm, welcoming personality and professionalism won me over from the start. She took the time to really talk with me and figure out what I was looking for with my hair. The hilights she gave me were beautiful and exactly what I asked for. She even answered my styling questions. I love my hair and I can’t wait to go back again!

Not only is everyone friendly and the atmosphere lovely, but I loved my Color and style!!! The stylist listened to what I wanted, offered advice, always let me know what she wAs doing and why, and educated me on hair. Britta definately has a passion for hair! I will be back!!! Plus the
Cost was very reasonable!!!

I have called back three times over the last week saying I was not happy with my color. I was told to wait the week and wash it and the color would fade which I did and called back and they just kept telling me to wash it a couple times. No offer to fix it. Ally, the last person I spoke to was not even listening to anything I was saying… DON’T go there as a new customer. They do not value customer service and the manager is out until next month but I will be sure to call back and complain about the service.

I came to this salon with a Groupon. As I entered the salon I was impressed by the friendly faces and positive atmosphere. However, when it came to getting my hair done I was very unsatisfied. I was getting a simple all over color and cut. My hair stylist left my hair processing for almost an hour, which I found to be unnecessary… going from a brown to dark brown should not take that long, especially considering she spent 20 minutes applying the color. The color was not at all what I expected it to be and the stylist never asked if I was satisfied. The stylist spent all of 10 minutes cutting my hair. She took a few inches from the bottom and called it a day. She had no suggestions as to a style that might suit my facial features and did not offer any tips. The entire time she questioned the care that I take in my hair, making subtle comments about how dry my hair was. It’s winter and I have hard water– I can’t help it. The final straw for me was the fact that my stylist called me «Missy» at least five times throughout the appointment. Definitely will not be going back.

I really, really, really want to be able to give these ladies a good review. The staff here is very sweet and tries so hard to please. But I can’t invent satisfaction where it doesn’t exist.
I came here for my hair style for my wedding based on a recommendation from The Knot. The girls on the site loved this place, so I was willing to give it a try. And when I met the stylist, Britta, I thought I had hit the jackpot (also, it’s lovely inside the salon).
That is, until we picked a picture to emulate and she proceeded to make me look like a refugee from Toddlers and Tiaras. I was so upset, I drove right to my sister-in-law’s house and lost it. But I went back the day of anyway, because she was trying SO hard to understand what I wanted and even did some research on the «Old Hollywood» looks.
So the day of my wedding, Britta spent 2 more hours on my hair, and I came out looking like I was about to do a dramatic reenactment of an episode of Dynasty from 1985. But it did comb out nicely, though I still haven’t been able to wash all of the product out of my hair. I paid $ 130 total to have to redo my hair both times.

What a great salon! Beautifully decorated with crystal chandeliers, warm hardwood floors and a friendly staff. It’s no wonder these girls made Milwaukee Magazine’s top salons list twice!
