My experience at the dentist was never pleasant until I tried out Dr Schlaack. The entire staff is knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. They are not open on Fridays, but have late appointments to compensate for that. I very much agree with a previous poster that said «he is at the top of his profession, does extremely high quality work, and educates you, the patient, on options for treatments that go beyond the usual check-​up.» Absolutely!!!

Let’s face it – going to the dentist ranks right up there with a prostate exam or seeing your OBGYN doc! What I want is to feel comfortable and confident that I’m going to get a professional working on my body.
I’ve been going to Dr. Schlaack’s office for 3 years. My wife and 12 yr old daughter also go here. In my opinion, he is at the top of his profession, does extremely high quality work, and educates you, the patient, on options for treatments that go beyond the usual check-​up.
With «Dr. Dave», you get much more! Is it possible for a dentist and his staff to actually make you feel you had fun at the dentist? When you come in, the modern office building has great wildflower garden with a walking path, so if you are a bit uptight, you can feel at peace with a quick stroll… look out for bees :). Through the front door gives you a «homey» feel with a fireplace and plenty of cushy chairs in the waiting area. Feels like a living room at your house.
The place is busy with what looks like 10 patient rooms, but you never feel like your in one of those high volume «franchise» clinics. My experience with the dental hygienist’s (asst) is they are thorough and «soft to the touch». No gum bleeding by an aggressive flossing! Dr. Dave has a great sense of humor and you can hear him making patients laugh in the other rooms. I can’t talk with somebody’s hands in my mouth, but I can sorta laugh.
Schlaack appears to have the latest in technology, doesn’t have a hard sell on cosmetic or whitening procedures, and the charges seem to be reasonable (based on what the insurance covers).
