I have used this company several times and must say that the technicians that they have are very friendly and knowledgable and the pricing is reasonable However, the owner of this company, David Loft, is rude and does not put his customers first. They have come out and replaced the circuit breaker when the ac unit kept tripping it. It continued tripping the new circuit breaker and they discovered it was a bad jump start unit and replaced it, deducting the cost of the circuit breaker since that wasn’t the issue. In May, they came out and cleaned out the drain pipes because they were backed up and it was causing leaking. This Friday, our ac compressor was struck by lightning from what we were told by the technicians. They tried calling their boss Friday to see if they could get the compressor, but he nevere answered or returned their calls. So there was nothing that could be done until Monday. They said that it was estimated at $ 2000. After looking through, my home owner’s insurance policy, we found that lightning strikes are covered and we are only responsible for the deductible. I called and put in a claim Saturday, but they were unable to do anything until Monday because they needed the quote for the repairs. The claims adjuster called the ac company and was told the verbal quote and he said that he would fax the written quote within 30 minutes. I gave him an hour and a half, called the insurance company and they hadn’t received the written quote yet. They tried calling him again and it went straight to voicemail. She left a voice mail and still no response. I called him several times at his office and his cellphone. It also went straight to voicemail every time. I left multiple messages and still have yet to receive a call back. II had the technician’s cell phone from one of his service calls and called him. He said that his boss was working on it. So if he is aware of it, then his boss must be receiving the voice mails and just ignoring them. At least this is the conclusion that I am coming to. We have been without ac in FLORIDA where the temps in my house have reaced 90 degrees and at one point was 85 at 1am in the morning and this is how he handles his customers. I think after this issue, I will be looking for another ac company. The customer service from the owner is horrible, but I gave it a 3 because of the price and the technicians.
