Fuji Express is a good option for anyone who is looking for a quick bite. The sushi is always fresh and their bento boxes are a great deal. My favorite roll is the sweet potato roll which is tempura sweet potato wrapped in seaweed and rice. The teriyaki bento boxes are a little light on the sauce, but come with rice, a California roll, pot stickers and vegetables. The restaurant itself is clean and the service is always fast and friendly.
Fuji Express is a good choice for anyone who is craving sushi, but who may have a tight budget.

I’ve been here twice now and been disappointed each time. Not a good value and the sushi is meh at best. Too bad they are one of the only sushi places in town.

Sushi too salty, very thin (small and with very little rice), soup overcooked… in general seems overrated in my experience. It’s cheap alright but I would favor Publix’s rolls over their counterparts here. There’s certainly a lot to improve.

True to their name they are quick to serve the food. My meal was good — seaweed salad, fire island sushi roll and shi Mai. It’s a no frills place that’s decent enough. It appeared clean and had been redone nicely. Prices are comparable to other places.

I go here all the time! Hands down the best sushi in Deland. The spicy tuna roll is one of my favorites. I eat here Atleast once a week the combination special are great
The only con is they need someone who speaks better English to answer the phone when taking orders

A new jewel on the north side. It is about time we got some new restaurants in north Deland that are not Mexican, and this Japanese restaurant is a must.
The food is excellent and the pricing reasonable. Their portions are generous. I am a big fan of their rolls. They have a 2 & 3 roll special with soup that is fantastic, or you can do a hibachi meal that is done very well.

This place is great. My wife and I ate there on a Sunday afternoon and the sushi that we got was great. I haven’t tried the hibachi yet, but you can bet that I will be going back and trying more of their sushi and some of the hibachi as well.
I wanted to order more before I even left but didn’t want to be THAT guy. I will be going back soon, and often.
