Not good. The egg rolls were burned. The entrees were small and flavorless. Choose somewhere else.

Helen Chun, the owner of Chun Mee has been in business since 1986. Many business have come and gone throughout the years, but Chun Mee has become a staple in the community. The track record speaks for itself. The chicken wings are considered famous. Many of the dishes are so good that it’s difficult to name a favorite. In addition to cream cheese wontons, egg foo young, and sweet and sour, the main dishes of mongolian beef, pepper steak, beef or chicken broccoli in the Szechuan sauce is piping hot and leaves you feeling very satisfied. Helen is the only chef and has a personal friendship with many of the customers. The Restaurant has employed over 150 high school students throughout the years; many of whom return years later for Helen’s cooking. The Restaurant has a very rich history. John Chun, Helen’s late husband who passed away over the Fourth of July weekend in 2013, was considered a celebrity. He worked for Carroll Shelby and was the designer of the ’67 — ’69 Shelby GT350 and GT500 performance cars. The food is not ‘fast-food’ but is healthy and made with love.

This place was awful. If I could give them no stars I would. I spent over 50 dollars on take out and basicly wasted all of it. I have never had such horrible food. The food was tasteless. It was odvious it was frozen. I wouldn’t go back if it was the last restaurant on earth.

After hearing this place had been open for over 13 years I had high expectations but I literally left with a bad taste in my mouth. The fried rice was burnt and tasted like it had been cooked in a pan that had burnt 30 batches before this one. The shrimp lo mein had pea pods in it and that over powered any other flavor there was supposed to be. On top of that it only had 5 shrimp in it. I couldn’t even eat half. I really hate writing bad reviews but this one was necessary.
