Wonderful place to stop after orchard with the kiddos — any age. Thick FILLING shakes — fresh raspberries! Hershey choc shake & peppermint shake was the BEST! Nice shaded area to sit — LOTS of pink! Clean restroom too

I would have to agree with Keith S. I ordered a raspberry malt because they were on the food network in recognition of their raspberry shakes and a malt is basically a shake with a bit of malt powder mixed in. The key word is mixed in! I was highly disappointed. It was grainy, lumpy and there was unmixed malt powder at the bottom of my cup. Unacceptable for a $ 5.00+ malt. Yes the prices are on the high side and I could possibly justify the price if it wasn’t all grainy and lumpy. Personally, I have no problem making a smooth, lump and grit free malt by hand at home. So… when I go out and order one, I expect it to be at least that good. Especially if your on the Food Network specifically for that type of item. Really a big disappointment and haven’t been back since. Perhaps someday I’ll give them another go.

The shakes are delicious! They only take cash and check. Shakes are thick and yummy. Downside, price. $ 15“ish” for two shakes, a large and regular. Love the atmosphere and the family friendly feel.

I bounce back and forth from the Double Bacon Cheeseburger to the Special Delano Burger. Fries and/or Onion Rings by the basket for shaing. The fries are hearty and always done perfectly; Onion Rings, the best around. Raspberry shakes are the most popular with my family but don’t be afraid to stray to the Butterscotch and beyond. Great place to take a break on your own, bring the family or everyone you’ve ever known. The food is freshly made when you order; nothing is sitting around waiting. The people working here are great. We have been many many times and are always welcomed and treated like they are glad we are there.

I give 2 stars. As seniors, my husband & I found $ 26 for two greasy burgers, an order of potato wedges and one shake too pricey. Daughter w/two preschoolers gave 4 stars. $ 5 for kids meal, which included generous ice cream cone decorated w/sprinkles & animal cracker, was an on-target price. Well thought out, fun, fenced playground and delightful outside seating enhanced experience. As a senior I won’t be back. As a grandmother, it’s the place to go.

Stop by here last summer on my way shopping. Couldn’t help but noticing the place. Haven’t seen a place like this in years. They have the old school drive-ins. You can order from the parking of your car and even eat it while you’re parking. They even have outdoor tables and play-set for the children. Their price may be a bit high but it’s worth the service. They accept credit cards, cash, and even checks. That a plus bonus compare to other places. The downside is that it’s only a seasonal place. The food is great because they serve meat and seafood. Their burgers are big compare to «the other guys». They have outdoor eating so you can catch a tan while kids are playing on their play-set.

This place is really cool for kids but hard on the parents wallet. Food is average at best but they do have really good shakes, everything is very expensive though!

IThey are awfully proud of their shakes here. That’s all we wanted. Stop by and we got one small shake and one large malt. The total was over $ 12. Yeesh. I could taste the graininess of the malt powder in mine. It got worse. The bottom of it had a layer of unmixed malt powder. The décor looks like something out of an ‘80s horror movie. Mega creepy, which frankly, I kinda like for the sake of being creepy. But still creepy. Anyways. It’s way overpriced for a and wasn’t that great. Really not much more to say.

We happened to stop by on the way back home from Twine Ball Days. It’s real food! Yes, the pork chop dinner at the festival would have been cheaper, but by golly, after a hot day in the sun it was a real treat to enjoy the raspberry chipotle chicken sandwich under the quiet trees. You could see the raspberries in the sauce, and the chicken breast was actual chicken breast(as opposed to «parts is parts» food). The pork tenderloin was fresh from the fryer, and also very good. Fresh vegetables in the sandwiches. And if you order a shake, keep in mind that the straw is just for decoration – you need a spoon to eat it. The peppermint twist shake had large chunks of peppermint candy(and for me that’s also real food). Next time I’m in this neck of the woods, I’m definitely going back.

This place is SUPEREXPENSIVE($ 4.70 for a large soda, $ 2.70 for a medium soda, NOREFILLS) and the food is basically greasy state fair food(reheated fried junk food). We got 3 kids meals for my grandkids and 3 appetizers(cajun fries, cheese curds & onion rings) to share and it came to $ 53. The food took 28 minutes to arrive while we got eaten alive by mosquitos. Bottom line, not worth the price. Service is painfully slow and you can eat in a nice restaurant for less money and get a full meal with beverage refills, rather than greasy appetizers & $ 5 cups of ice with a teeny bit of soda in them. NOTWORTHIT.

100% pure Americana and a fun place to take your kids. This rating isn’t based on food, which is anywhere between 1 and 3 stars, depending on the item. The burgers are good, though on the greasy side(3*). The shakes(including their featured raspberry shake) is good(3*). The fries and other deep fried items are decidedly mediocre(1−2*). Go here for burgers, a fun place to kick back(car clubs go here frequently) and a chance to relax in silly surroundings. I take foreign friends here because this fits _exactly_what they picture as «America” – they love it.

I had great memories of stopping at a drive-in at this location for what were claimed to be the best hamburgers when I was younger. We would always stop here on the way to a friend’s cabin and I was a fan. I returned to the drive-in more than 25 years later and it appears to have changed from what I remember. What used to be a modest drive-in restaurant in my memories had been replaced by a drive-in with a garish pink color scheme surrounded by a park. When we first arrived I had to think hard about whether my memories were flawed or if the place had changed. When we were finally ready to order, we noticed the signs saying that credit cards were not accepted. We do not carry cash normally, so we had to leave and find an ATM(fortunately not too far away at a gas station, but we had to pay a fee). When we returned, my intention was to get a hamburger, but then I noticed the breadth of the menu and my Iron Law of Hamburgers: if hamburgers are not the most prominent menu item, then don’t bother because they likely are not worth the effort. Even though I had fond memories of past hamburgers at this location, I was suspicious that the cosmetic changes to the drive-in suggested that the food had changed as well. This was the line of reasoning that caused me to bow to my Iron Law of Hamburgers and select the Pork Tenderloin sandwich. I was not pleased with my choice. The pork was dry and overall the sandwich lacked flavor. I really had to work to finish the sandwich. The rest of the meals for my family members seemed to be equally uninspiring.

We went here on our way to the campground for the weekend, Food here is great and have been coming here for several years now. It is one of the old fashioned drive inns(which are few and far now). the cajun fries are yummy so I recommend those. Portions are good sized as well. the burgers here are really good and I would recommend them. You can eat order from your car and have them bring the food to your car or there is a seating area. The service here is good, they are pretty friendly. The only thing is they do not accept credit cards, so make sure to bring cash.
