Haban Septic & Excavating

We built a new home in Lake Geneva from 2012 – 2013. A mound septic system was required. After speaking with 6 septic firms, Haban Septic had not the cheapest, but a fair price and a great system.
Why I am giving Haban Septic 5 stars? We had an issue this summer where it was discovered our fence installer had breached our septic field with a fence post, in fact a few fence posts. The damage was not cheap to repair but if not done? Would cost far more in the future. The fencing company was playing dumb and refused to acknowledge their error, even with PLAT maps, drawings, and a walk through the property on site with me.
Tom, the owner of Haban Septic? Not only defended our position, but informed and basically educated this fence installer, that if they wanted to speak to Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, huge fines would incur. Tom took 50 photos of the damage, went out not once but twice to show the fence company, AND spent 30 minutes on the phone with the owner of the fence company explaining what they did.
If not for Tom at Haban Septic basically being our educated and expert witness? We would have been stuck with thousands in repair costs. The fencing company settled with us 100% and is re-​installing the fence line next week, with Haban on site to assure there is no recurrence.
Top notch outfit that went WAY beyond what was required and I highly recommend!
