I go into the store to purchase a simple item and an associate tells me about a clash sale in their garden center. After picking up my items another young woman cashier was ringing us up while I ran to the bathroom and accidentally typed in the wrong SKU for double the price of an item. When I came back I noticed the mistake and told her about it. Instead of double checking, I had to run to grab another item. She fumbled on trying to scan and refund me. She pressed her fat stomach on my item, squishing it while she struggled with the register. There was another associate next to her standing there like a stupid statue and did nothing. Instead, after waiting a few minutes, I grabbed another item and it scanned. She rung me up and charged me for the item and never refunded me for her original mistake. Incompetent much? I’ll be taking my business to Home Depot next time because their associates are friendly, helpful and competent.
