Great homemade cheese curds. Exceeded expectations. Fish fry was great-fish was fried perfectly. Potato pancakes are good/but I was jealous of my sons fries– which looked freshly cut. FF complete with applesauce, coleslaw, and rye bread. Would recommend. Service was pretty good.

We have been here several times and each time it seems as if there are improvements that could be made. This time the service was very marginal; water glasses were left unfilled, appetizer plates weren’t cleared to make room for entrees, and part of our order came at least 10 minutes before the other entrees. The food overall was very good-veggie bean burger is still a favorite. We did enjoy sitting out in the porch on a beautiful summer day!

Cute, casual place with good food but not-so-good service. We had chips with salsa and guacamole — salsa was fine, guacamole was fresh and delicious. Fish tacos and shrimp tacos were filling and tasty. Crab cakes were fine, nothing to write home about. BBQ ribs were very good. Sauce on the sweet side but very good. Service however was VERY slow, not too friendly and I’m still waiting for my drink. The food was 4 stars — service was 0 stars.

Skip it. Yes, it looks cute and like it would have good food, but the service was terrible and the food was expensive for what it was — not very good. The fried pickles(all 12 of them) were $ 8.50! Very disappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. What a disappointment. Looks cute from outside but the food is tasteless Cisco crap and the drinks are horrible. What a waste of money

On the plus side, our server was great and we enjoyed our drinks and the stuffed mushroom app. On the disappointing side, my ribs were overcooked(a bit dry/lifeless) and my wife’s fish tacos were bland(seemed like the tomatoes/beans/rice side dish had been left in the fridge for a day or two). Seems to me this place would benefit from a smaller, revamped menu. Better to do 10 dishes well than 30 with mixed results.

The place was beautiful but the burgers were as salty as the mediteranian ocean. I told the waitress, she said ill let them discount or replacement of food. Not for me sorry

We met several old friends here to celebrate and honor the life of a dear friend that recently passed. Staff was great and the food was awesome!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Quiet and not busy, which was perfect for 2 girls out for drinks and lunch. Lots of great choices but we ended up getting two appetizers and drinks. The Humongous Mushrooms were amazing! I’m so getting those the next time I am there. Golden deep fried pickles were also excellent. Yum! You can’t really go wrong with fried food though, can you?! They had a normal selection of drinks with some beers on tap. A previous Unilocal reviewer mentioned that the martini’s were really good so I wanted to try them, but our server was clueless about drink choices. She claimed that she was underage, so didn’t really pay attention. I ended up ordering a bloody mary which was really good. The place was clean, server was attentive. I would totally go back!

We went here on a Sunday and all they were offering was their Sunday Brunch, so I can’t review anything from the actual menu. The brunch was very average, especially for the price($ 24.99 for adults, 12.99 for kids) — with 2 young kids(who ate about .50 cents worth of scrambled eggs each) and 2 adults and one OJ and one bloody mary, our bill was a staggaring $ 90 after tax. Not including tip. The made to order omelet was good, and I had a nice piece of cheesecake for dessert, everything else that was premade was pretty tired. The eggs benedict had solid yolks and the english muffin was so hard that I could not even saw through with my knife. Bacon was undercooked. Hash browns were not bad, and the sausage was good. A sad looking bowl of onion dip and chips and a suspicious looking BLT salad(made with mayo) that appeared to be at least a few hours old rounded out the table. We stayed away. We did get a glass of champagne with the brunch free of charge, though I had to pay for some orange juice to mix it with to make a mimosa. Hubby enjoyed his Bloody Mary, which was $ 7. Wish I’d gone with my gut after seeing that they were only offering the brunch, but we were starving after a 2 hour car ride. Definitely overpriced for what was offered.

Went on a Friday night and was a bit disappointed. Based on other reviews I was expecting a good experience, I was wrong. The service flat out sucked! The food was OK and everything started out OK but after I ordered the service went from OK to none. Pretty sure if we got up and walked out it would have been an hour before the server even knew we were gone. Sad because it’s kind of a neat little place.

We ate there for the first time today. I has the Mac and cheese, which is offered with several additional options. I choose broccoli, sun dried tomatoes and grilled chicken. It was excellent. Savory, creamy, and the additions were all cooked to perfection. My husband had the chili and onion rings. Chili was excellent. The onion rings were greasy and soggy, but it could have been because there was only one server and no bussers, so I’m not sure how long they were sitting under the heat lamp. There was also a large table near us of business people, with a few of them giving rather loud presentations. Somewhat tacky, as I didn’t come to dine to listen to a presentation. The server did her best under the circumstances, and we had no complaints about her service.

The atmosphere is nice. Food was average… Nothing was awesome, but no real complaints. Service was slow and inattentive, despite our being there after the main time for dinner rush.

Dude. Great burgers and good wings. Plenty of beers on tap to choose from and a tv wherever you need one to watch the game. Can’t beat the upstairs deck on a summer night. Check em out!

I stopped after finding this place on Unilocal so I wouldn’t miss the Packer game. Outstanding food and service. Being a purebred cheesehead, I’ve had many cheese curds in my day, but these are the best I’ve ever had.

I’m glad to have found this spot. Been having more and more business trips up to the Geneva area and haven’t been too fond of many places. Me and the guys decided to go a little further out of the way and were incredibly surprised. The Saracha shrimp and cheese curds are a great way to start and the burgers were pretty good, too. The beer selection is solid, the only complaint I have is that they didn’t have any WI beers when we visited, but I can understand, its gotta be hard to keep enough Spotted Cow on tap at all times. The pricing was very fair and the atmosphere perfect. Big props to our waitress, Karen, for dealing with us loud mouths and delivering outstanding service and suggestion to get the tater tots loaded(hint: do it). Whenever I roll through the area, I’ll be stopping by. Great stuff.

We did a girls’ mini-getaway in the area, not really having been there before, and we consider this one of our best finds of the trip. We drove past the place on a late weekend evening and it immediately caught our eye — we ended up deciding to spontaneously stop in on the way back. The menu had a nice variety — it was late night and we were obviously in the mood for a junky late night splurge, there was a nice variety of classic pub fare and delicious sounding healthier entrees, with some interesting twists. They offer late night happy hour Sun-Thurs, which when we visited included half price appetizers and tap beers(with many great options on tap). They had a nice variety of options, and we chose the spinach and artichoke fondue, as well as the cheese curds. Both were excellent and generously sized. The spinach and artichoke dip was served with some toasty garlic bread and was a huge hit(one friend who loves to order that said it was the best dip she’d ever tried). We actually ordered cheese curds elsewhere the next day and we unanimously decided they didn’t measure up to the ones at Waterfront — there was a light seasoning to the breading that we really liked(and one friend said Waterfront’s were«fluffier»). The bartender Brittany was incredibly friendly and fun to chat with. We can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu, as well as stop by for another late night happy hour!

I really wanted to love this place. However, there were too many things wrong for that. One of these is something I take for granted: tap water. Here, it had the familiar, metallic taste of well water. I cannot understand why a restaurant would think that it is OK to serve this. I had to order lemonade, which tasted as if it, too, was made with well water but was at least disguised by the sugar(not much lemon flavor). Second, we were seated on a sort of porch that we were told was inside and not stinky. A short time later, we smelled auto exhaust from the road. The porch had windows and some were open. Fortunately, I was able to close the one closest to us without complaint. My veggie burger was… different. I respect that they made their own burger with out of the ordinary ingredients. The taste wasn’t completely off-putting but it was confusing. The accompanying coleslaw was just OK. My wife’s nachos featured black beans as a second ingredient but they were as rare as gold. She also requested no jalapenos but had more of them than the black beans. I told the waitress about this and(props to the restaurant) they did take 4 dollars off. Any one of these things alone wouldn’t have mattered as much. Together, though, they made for a disappointing experience(not terrible — good on them for the price adjustment and decent deep fried cheese curds). Hence, the three stars.

Great view of sunset here and a pretty good draft list. Food is okay, but could use a little lighter touch in the kitchen. Baked cod was drowning in butter, fish boil had exactly 3 half slices of red potato, burger was overcooked, for example. We ordered the Bells Two-Hearted Ale and sent it back when we got a mug of a winter spice ale. Watched the bartender repour it and got the same beer again, so someone’s got a tap mixed up… Overall, this is a good place for simple food and nicer in the summer when you can sit out on the deck.

Overall: Great food and a fun atmosphere make the Waterfront stand out. A bar atmosphere, but quality food and service make it classy as well. The good: Fantastic food, even if it is mostly sandwiches, burgers, etc. They do have specials, which were great. Great tasting fish for an average price. Good drink options to choose from. Huge portions and friendly service. The bad: If you got into the entrees, the prices were steep. Not many«healthy» options. Not too much outside of the typical sandwiches and american fare, but again it tasted good. Atmosphere: 8⁄10 Service: 9⁄10 Food: 8⁄10
