Aldi has been a store my family has used since I was a child and it has improved over time. This is a newer store with easy access from a couple of different directions. The store is clean and well stocked. The associates have always been available and ready to help. Check out has never been an issue at this location as they open up as many lanes as necessary to get customers through. Prices are definitely low, as the primary goods are generic brands, though you will frequently find name brand items spread throughout. If you walk out spending $ 100, you actually feel like you bought groceries instead of a few bags. If you have never been to an Aldi, make sure you have a quarter for the shopping cart. If you have your own bags take them, since you have to pay for each bag you use. Don’t rely on getting an empty box to use, because a lot of people count on that. There are many German items spread throughout the store(since it’s a German chain), so you might find something new to try(or maybe an old favorite). Certain items are standard, so you will find them every time you go, other items rotate, so don’t expect to find certain things every time… once you’ve gone a few times, you know what to expect. We have never had an issue with any product, from canned, frozen, meat, and vegetables, but like any store, always check it out before it goes in your cart. Download the Aldi app to see the weekly specials! It is an invaluable resource to know what to expect and when.

Finally, an Aldi in Delaware! Such ridiculously cheap prices on certain items, like buns. When you need to buy 50, Aldi is the place to go. Good chips, crackers, canned foods and some frozen items. Not everything is high quality, but for the price, it is good. Clean store, nice employees, well stocked. I steer clear from the produce though, have had some issues there. Take your own stock of grocery bags and park near the carts.

Clean, well-stocked, and cheap. Haven’t met an unpleasant employee yet. German efficiency at its finest. But why no sauerkraut?
