My 2 year old really enjoyed it. Thought $ 20 a car was a little pricey, would have paid $ 15. It really isn’t long enough to be $ 20.

Come see this fantastic fantasy! We went to the Christmas light show with low expectations, and boy were we totally surprised. There are a number of reasons why you should come and see these twinkling, shining and moving displays. First, it’s a DRIVETHRU. Instead of walking in inclement weather, you can be toasty as marshmallows in your vehicle. No parking costs, only the $ 15 per car admission fee.(slightly more if you’re in a van or even a LIMO) Stay warm while looking at these remarkable, creative and captivating displays. After you tune in the radio to recommended Xmas music & turn your car lights off, you are on your way to viewing more than a hundred holiday displays. There were moving trains, tunnels, leaping reindeers and so much more. They were all lit up, uniquely presented & placed for your viewing pleasure. The lines can be long. Recommend coming nearer to closing time; figure at least 30 minutes of viewing time, excluding waiting in line. If you are heading north to the exhibit, expect to be routed in a loop to gain access to the entrance. The roads are narrow and can be hard to see, especially at night with the headlights off. Being in the car will make it difficult to linger and to take pictures. But these are all minor drawbacks for having the opportunity to see such an incredible spectacle. Oh, and one final tip, let someone else do the driving!!! Ho, ho, ho!

We’ve always seen the commercial to drive through the Fantasy of Lights and always say we’re going to go. This year was the year. We went with some friends on a Saturday night. We expected it would be crowded and it was but not line out onto the road crowded so that was fine. However, what was NOT fine was paying $ 15 per carload and having at least ¼ of the lights NOTLIT! I don’t know if fuses are blown or some of the structures have lights out or whatever but literally one of the first attractions was completely dark and it became a game of how many were broken. I wanted to get 25% of our money back. Don’t get me wrong, the lights were nice and some of the displays were really cute but it was hard to see past the ones that we weren’t getting to see. They told us to go down the street to the Santa’s House for free hot chocolate and cookies. We thought maybe that could help the bad taste in our mouths. As soon as we walked in to the small building, we knew this was a mistake. People were crammed in there, it was a little chaotic, there was no signs as to where the cookies and cocoa were so we started wandering down a hallway. The further we wandered, the more the smell of urinal cakes permeated the air and some rather swarthy characters were all gathered ’round a bulletin board and it looked like a deal of some sort was happening. We quickly retreated. We went into the gift shop while my husband and friend tried to find the hot cocoa to which I replied«we have some at home, let’s go.» As we exited, there were 2 tour buses full of people that hadn’t de-boarded yet and I have no idea how they were going to get in there. Not even ¼ of one bus would fit in there. Trying to back out of the parking space to get out of the place was a feat in itself and we had to have one of the workers stop traffic so we could back out. I hope they get the lights fixed so that people who paid to see all of the displays get to see them. As far as Santa’s House, even if you have kids, do yourself a huge favor and skip it. Santa’s are at far less frustrating locations.
