Just over crowded, the basketball courts are never open for free play it seems, kind of annoyed that the parks and rec was taken over by the Y as well, I feel it should be a separate entity. My son has a good time at the pool. I would have given 3 stars but it’s so over crowded its hard to enjoy it

This is my local Y and since I moved to Delaware I have been a member. The Y is fairly new as it was built in 2012 and is huge. The staff working the front are always welcoming even at 5:30 in the morning.
The Y has a right start program for new members and it was nice. When I go to the Y I participate in the classes, cardio, weights and more. Plus this one has a track over the basketball court.
The lockerroom are always clean also.

Love this gym!
I have a girl friend who told me when she goes to the gym, she doesn’t want anyone to bother her. If someone goes for the machine next to her, she looks at them like «no. You’re not gonna do that.» —- this is not a problem at this gym! It’s spacious. And unless I’m just coming at off peak hours, there aren’t people all up in your space and face at all.
I love the cleanliness, that staff aren’t all up in your face but available when you need to ask something or check out a locker key. I love that the parking is always available and the lot is right in front of the entrance so you’re not having to strategize how to walk te hypotenuse when your hair is wet after a work out or on cold winter days. Score.

There’s a men’s locker room. A women’s locker room. And a family locker room. Since I take up a ton of space in this world I really like using the family locker room (jk, but I like feeling enough space to do my things in privacy without others seeing me or me saying excuse me and all that).

I really like this YMCA. The locker rooms are really clean and the staff is so friendly. Now if I could just get them to set the scales to read ten pounds lighter!

BEST place ever for any age so many fun things like the teen leaders or family nights and youth basketball man that’s the best there big court and family night

I am among the majority of the nation who resolved to «get fit and healthy» this 2013. Mother-​in-​law bought hubby and I a monthly membership to the YMCA and I figured I’d check it out. My main reason for joining was because of the pool and the ability to swim laps as a means of working out. However, since our joining 4 weeks ago, I haven’t touched the pool because the fitness classes have sucked me in. I’ve gone to Zumba, Cardio Kickboxing and Total Body Circuit. Many, many others are offered. If you’re a smartphone user, download the YMCA of Central Ohio App. The Delaware Community Center YMCA updates their class schedules so you can check at a glance what’s happening that day and when you can go. I believe it’s about $ 70 for my hubs and I, who live in Delaware, to pay on a month-​to-​month basis — but it’s not really us, it’s mother-​in-​law, so thanks MIL! Already lost 4 pounds. Woo hoo!

Awesome for childrens birthday parties. It was $ 100+ to rent a party room for 2 hours and get 10 kids in to swim. We had pizza delivered to the Y and brought in cake and ice cream. Kids had an amazing time! Very nice family pool, with a few sprinkler things to play around, zero depth entry, two life guards on the side and a big twisty slide. A few tables are setup next to the pool for family to watch and hang out, easy access to the locker rooms, which are clean and big. Good parking outside.

Beautiful new facility with great pool, workout facilities, awesome gym, but the best part are all the connections that you make. Great community center.
