The haircut and blowout was okay. I’m just upset that the haircut was $ 25 and blowout was $ 5. I’ve been to places where a shampooing, blowout, and haircut cost up to $ 20 all together.

Walked in on a Tuesday afternoon and was seated right away. The nice Korean lady, Joo Kim, speaks enough English to understand my instructions and delivered exactly what I asked for. Shampoo cut style including blow out and nice final touch with the flat iron at the end. Total damage $ 30 plus 25 cents to park 45 mins around the corner and she had me out and looking pretty before the meter expired. Could have paid $ 25 if I shampooed my hair first. Will definitely be back and combine with a grocery shopping trip at the HMART a few doors down. Place was clean and spacious, she paid attention to details, glad I found her before trying another Unilocaler recommended place in Chinatown for $ 5 less because I don’t enjoy waiting in a very busy salon with multiple stylists and clients. Joo worked alone on this day, it was quiet and relaxing. Good location since there was plenty of street parking within a block and 69th St station is just across the street.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this place. This is the best place I’ve found in the Philly area for my hair(i’m an Asian male). It’s also very clean inside unlike the Hmart nextdoor. The stylist, who I’m guessing is also the owner, looks very unassuming so I was a little nervous walking in, but she’s a very sweet korean lady and you can tell she knows what she’s doing. My wife also got a trim the same day and she was really happy with how it turned out. The stylist was able to give her the style she wanted while fixing up her damaged hair from a previous treatment elsewhere. Price-wise I think I paid $ 15 and my wife paid $ 20. I could be off on the exact amount, but it was very inexpensive for how clean the place is and how good the stylist is.
