I had been using the same eye doctor for almost ten years and tried Hughes Opticians on a recommendation from a friend; I’m so glad I did! Dr. Kerry Harbeck conducted my exam and immediately suggested a better brand/​type of contacts. He was extremely informative and patient allowing to test out different types of contacts until I found the best pair for me. I didn’t purchase glasses, but they seem to have a wide selection. The front desk staff was also helpful and knowledgeable about my insurance questions.

I went to Hughes for the first time yesterday and it was an amazing experience. When I walked in Melissa at the front desk was so lovely and easy to talk to. I ended up buying two pairs of glasses and I am in love !!!

I went to Hughes for many years. I thought that paying premium prices would include service if something went wrong. In my experience, that did not happen. I went in with lenses with a deteriorating glare coating and left with lenses so badly scorched that they need to be trashed. Their attitude was a cavalier ‘oh well’, they needed to be replaced soon anyway. No responsibility on their part and don’t hold your breath waiting for a return phone call.

I love coming to Hughes Opticians!
The staff are incredibly helpful and personable. They are always willing to answer any questions I may have, and even offer their option when picking out frames. Every time I go, I am brought back for my exam on time, and the exam itself is quick but thorough. I would recommend Hughes to anyone!

Yesterday was my first time at Hughes Opticians. I heard about their large selection of frames including Tom Ford, Oliver People’s and Chanel. It was amazing. So many great stylish frames. It took me no time to find a great pair of frames. Jackie was super helpful and very friendly. I can’t wait to get and wear my new glasses!

I couldn’t have been more impressed with Hughes. Their selection of frames is the best I’ve seen north of NYC. The staff is welcoming, friendly, knowledgable and professional. Special kudos to Jackie, who was remarkably helpful and accommodating. She and her colleagues make buying new eyeglasses a pleasant experience – no small feat.
