Nice clean place to take care of you dirty undies I recently move to the area and don’t have my washer and dryer here quite yet. I’ll be coming back here again.

Bill breaker ate my twenty dollar bill, and there is no phone number posted anywhere.

Great parking, open 24 hours which is awesome. The only bad part is that there wasn’t any soap in the dispensers! But this will be my go to laundromat.

Very clean and well lit area and they also have free WiFi. Used the facilities late at night and it was disappointing that there wasn’t an attendant and that the soap dispensing machines were empty but other than that I will definitely come here again.

This place is clean compared to most laundromats I’ve been in. They do have a vending machine for soap, dryer sheets etc but was empty on this particular visit(my only one thus far). Pros: 40, 60 and 80 lb washers to accommodate big comforters, the dog beds or your entire household clothes in one load. There’s one tv mounted up on the wall for noise aside from the machines. Coin machine seems in working order for multiple bill increments. Cons: very limited seating(6 seats), open 24 hours. I am unsure about wifi since I don’t trust random public networks.

With my washer out of commission, tonight I found myself in need of a laundromat for the first time since I moved back from Boston. Hoping to avoid the creepy Delmar laundromat at the Four Corners, I took Jess’s suggestion and tried So White. By city standards, it’s not that small of a place, and I certainly had no problems getting three washing machines for my two week backlog of clothes. The washing machines seemed pretty new, and the commercial dryers were circa 1970’s but well-maintained. The only thing I didn’t like about them is that they lacked an electronic timer. That’s a pretty standard feature in Boston; I don’t know if I should expect that from Albany laundromats. The price($ 1.75 for a washer load) was cheaper than the $ 2.50/load I’d come to expect from Boston, though, so things sort of evened out. A few of my shirts now have a faint discoloration stain or two that I didn’t catch before I ran them through the dryer. I’m not sure whether this has to do with the washers or the new fabric softener I decided to experiment with, however. Like Jess, I appreciated the proximity to Delaware Plaza. When my clothes were in the dry cycle, I grabbed dinner at Subway and browsed the Dollar Tree and Friar Tuck. I had no problems with finding folding space. Counters run along the side wall and a good chuck of the front wall. I forgot to bring my laundry basket, so they didn’t do me much good. But they were there.

This is my preferred laundromat, having tried out several others. It’s quite clean and it’s convenient — just a short distance from Delaware Plaza. I like to multitask when I can so this convenient location is a huge plus. The downside is that it’s fairly small, so it gets packed quickly and there aren’t many chairs to sit and wait for your laundry. Because it’s small, there also isn’t much room to fold and there are only a few extra-large washers. It’s definitely a better place to do laundry in the summer because there’s great seasonal soft-serve ice cream place open right next door and you can sit outside while you wait for your laundry.
