Cringe. The complete lack of customer service at this particular location is astounding. On Saturday 9⁄13 I visited this store to drop off a disposable camera with pictures. A young woman instructed me to complete the necessary information and hand the camera directly to her. She assured me that she would place the camera in the drop box and stated that I would have my pictures by next week. Two weeks went by. I called for a status and was told they weren’t ready. At the end of the third week, on 10/04, I entered the store to pick up my pictures, thinking that surely they’d be back by this point, as the young woman stated they were sent out for processing every Thursday and assured me it would take no longer than 1 – 2 weeks maximum. The woman working the register found my camera in the wrong bin, and informed me that the other young woman never actually sent out my pictures. The manager on duty confirmed this, and he and the woman spoke of the employee who mishandled my pictures in condescending words. The manager on duty stated there was nothing he could do to expedite the situation and it would take an additional 1 – 2 weeks to get my pictures processed. As per the manager on duty’s instructions, I called the store manager, the following week to see if the pictures could be expedited. She was not available to speak with, and the same manager on duty who answered my phone call informed me that there was nothing that they could do except ship the pictures out for the next week. I then wrote to customer service through Rite Aid’s website and did not hear back. I then called to follow up. The woman stated the website had a glitch and I needed to email the situation again. I did so. On 10/17, a month after I dropped off my pictures, I received a call from the manager(I had written to customer service regarding this issue). From 09⁄13 through 10⁄04 my pictures sat without being shipped out. Her lack of customer service astounded me. I finally received my pictures on October 19. 12 of the 30 pictures were developed properly. The other 18 pictures were blank gray pieces of paper. I paid $ 5.88 after waiting over a month for 12 pictures. From now on, I’ll stick to CVS’s 1 hour photo. This location is a disaster.
