Great ice cream!!! First time here. Tried the pistachio frozen custard and the kids got the mango Italian ice. Better than I expected.

Delicious frozen custard, that’s right — custard — with special flavors of the day plus vanilla & chocolate, of course! Great deals in July for National Ice Cream Month! Check ‘em out!

My favorite place to go for ice cream! Their vanilla frozen yogurt tastes like custard that you would get at the shore! Plus it’s fat free so it fits my macros easier :)

This is what frozen custard should taste like – very creamy, dense, and not watery. I seek out frozen custard places when I travel because there’s not one close to my home and this is one of the best I’ve had. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I’ve been here a few times now with my buddy that has Down syndrome and they always remember us. He loves the chocolate shakes and so do I

Love the custard here. Its very different from ice cream and yogurt. Its not too sweet and tastes just right. Its almost the consistently of soft serve ice cream but its thick enough to scoop out like hard ice cream. Its very good. They also make custard cakes which we are getting for our son for his birthday soon.

I love this place and love supporting new establishments that actually treat their customers well. Custard is awesome. Flavors change every day which makes it exciting! This custard is the perfect texture for when you’re not sure if you want soft-serve or old fashioned hard. It’s right in between. Lots of options like shakes, cones, sundaes, blizzard type things. Staff very friendly. Prices comparable to any other decent ice cream place. Huge eat-in area complete with a chalkboard to keep the little ones entertained.

I don’t live very far from this place and I kind of wish I did. Great custard! I’ve had regular chocolate and turtle flavors. The turtle was everything!!! The sweet and salty with the nuts hit the spot. If you’re in the area give them a try. You don’t even have to get out of the car :)

This place is AMAZING!!! I loved the huge banana split and my kids enjoyed their chocolate and vanilla cones. Custard is 10x’s better than any ice cream! The quality and sheer weight of this stuff is worth the price. WOW! The service is great,(the owners love what they do) and I love the cleanliness of the place. Lots of seating and my kids had a wonderful time using the chalk board. I recommend this establishment to anyone within 30 miles. A must! 10 out of 10.

Limited selection of custard(when we went it was chocolate, vanilla, cherry vanilla and butter pecan). Large selection of sundaes, shakes, blend-ins, but really, do you need all that? I had the chocolate(meh) and he had the cherry vanilla, which consisted of chunks of bing cherries folded into vanilla custard. He was incredibly impressed with the flavor. I would come back but try another flavor next time.

Finally stopped in to try the custard. One of the flavors of the day was cookies & cream. Ordered a medium. Flavor was good, price was what you would expect to pay. Not many customers probably due to the location. For those familiar with this area of Delran, you know that traffic gets backed up at the jug handle northbound 130 to come back southbound 130 towards the Meadows. Good thing I came from the other direction because I would have kept going north since traffic was that backed up. This has been a poor location for businesses because of this problem. Bottom line… Try it out you’ll probably like it. Just don’t come from northbound 130 during heavy traffic times. For me there is other options with easier access.

I totally love this place… I used to go to Holiday Ice Cream on Route 130… but, this place is cleaner, brighter and a lot more inviting! Another review complained about the rotation of their flavors… Like Rita’s Water Ice, they offer different flavors for the day, which is no biggie… because if you follow them on Facebook, you would know what flavor’s were available before your stopped by! I love their brownie sundae! My hubby and kids are big fans of their milkshakes and birthday flavored ice cream! I have nothing but good things to say about The Meadows… and I think you will, too! :)

I want to like this place but the flavor selection is limited to only a few that change daily, and if you arent into what the offer, you are wasting your time. That happened to me twice already. Othe ice cream places have the popular flavors all the time, not this place. They have a marquee board on the sign out front. Post the flavors of the day on the board or even on the window. You may get more customers that way.

I grew up across the street from a custard stand in Roxborough that was considered the best in the city. This place kicks it’s ass. Custard is made with a specially designed machine that makes custard without air. That makes it real custard, not fluff. Flavors constantly change. Always a different treat. You want cheap, try Friendlys. You want special, go to Meadows.

After reading an article in the Burlington County Times and learning that The Meadows Frozen Custard that I remember getting as a child in Western Pennsylvania was now in South Jersey, I just had to check it out — even though this place is almost ½ hour’s drive from where I live! We’ve been here twice so far, and it’s even better than I remember. This is not your typical frozen custard — this stuff is scooped, not dispensed from a machine. It’s heavenly — thick and creamy and delicious. Trust me when I tell you that you will not be disappointed! One of the owners explained to me last night that the reason this custard is so delicious is because it has only 12% air, as compared to the usual 20% of most frozen custards. The flavor I chose last night — white house — was superb. They hand mixed vanilla custard with crushed maraschino cherries right in front of me. Their flavors(fluffernutter, pumpkin, cookies and cream, butter pecan, chocolate peanut butter to name a few) change daily, so check their daily calendar on Facebook. I’m scheduling my next visit for September 28th when they’ll be serving up salted caramel. MMMMM! Here’s a link to their Facebook page that’ll let you see the daily flavors calendar

Real frozen custard! Definitely not the dairy like product that others sell. Best in the area. We got«medium» cones; they were huge. Plenty of parking and seating. Could stand to work on the flow in the line though. Clean place, even with all the kids running around. The staff kept up with the mess.

In a land where the pickings for custard places pretty much consists of Rita’s, the Meadows is a welcome new addition(especially because it filled a closed KFC)! They’ll let you sample their flavors of the day, which is awesome, especially because they give you a giant helping for the sample. And the large portions translate to the orders. I got a small chocolate brownie and almost couldn’t finish it(but I did because it was so good)! Overall a clean establishment with tons of employees, it’s a little disorganized(lines don’t form properly) but the wait time isn’t really affected– just awkward. There’s even a drive-thru if you’re in a hurry and a back picnic area if you aren’t. Great summer place!
