Elite Nail Spa

Just had a lovely pedicure with Tai. She was happy to keep up a lively conversation or let my mother and me chat.
She did a very nice job shaping and painting my nails. There was also a nice foot and leg massage followed by a hot towel.
Will definitely ask for her the next time I come in.

I’m not from this area. Sometimes when my boyfriend works on a Saturday, I would drop him off to work and do some work myself as I wait until he’s done. This was the case yesterday. I was working on my last paper for the summer at a local Starbucks and after I finished, I decided to treat myself to a pedi!
I Unilocaled local nail salons and the first one on the list showed up cheap and with good ratings… BUT the place was understaffed and didn’t have any available spots until later in the afternoon. Luckily I remembered passing by this place, so I went to this salon instead… And I’m so glad that I did!
They were able to take me right away but I popped in at the right time because they had other appointments after me. The salon was a good sized place with plenty of tables and pedi stations in the back. The staff was friendly and mine in particular was «real,» which I enjoyed because at some places, they’re either talking in a different language to each other, they don’t talk to you whatsoever (which can be nice on days that you don’t want to chat), or they can have small talk just so it’s not awkward. But I wish I got my tech’s name… It sounded like Tai? My bad, but I enjoyed the authentic conversation that we had and she did good job with my pedi, especially the massage. I didn’t have to ask her but she went deeper than most places would. I’m usually afraid or lazy to ask. –_​–
Just being there is comparatively similar to when guys go to barber shops, at least from what I’ve seen on tv. Lol! The only reason I gave 4 stars… Some conversations were a little on the unfiltered side. Just a forewarning… And I’d want to try getting a mani so to really get a fuller experience, I suppose. But I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area and needed a mani/​pedi!

I have visited this salon twice now and would highly recommend it. My first visit was a very busy Friday before Memorial Day and I have to say I was a bit uncomfortable for the first few minutes as I wasn’t really greeted. I do think this was an unusual situation as I can see that everyone is typically warmly welcomed… Many by name. I have only had pedicures so far with two different women and both were excellent and enjoyable. The salon is clean and comfortable with seats and tubs that appear new. I never feel rushed and really enjoy the warm towel over my feet and legs after the massage and lotion. My toes are perfectly painted and trimmed just as I like them.
