Great place to grab a coffee. Andre is great and makes a solid café con leche! If you’re in the area would recommend you stop in and grab a coffee here.

Great coffee and atmosphere but no electrical outlets… Had to leave once my battery ran out. Otherwise a great place

Four stars on the coffee, setting, very comfortable. Owner is very nice. Plenty of tables in and outside. Had a buttered bagel. Not a real ny water bagel, sorry. Not sure about cakes but don’t get a bagel there if you know bagels. Enjoy.

Gizzi’s has a very cozy atmosphere, and some of the best specialty drinks in Boca or Delray. If you are in the area, don’t bother going anywhere else. You won’t be disappointed.

Great coffee, yummy snacks with healthy vegan options, and such sweet staff. I’ve driven by many times and today was the first time that I’ve gone in, I’m glad I did and will def go back.

Andres seems intimidating when you first walk in — but have no fear, he is super nice!!! This place has comfortable couches, a lot of space, etc. It’s a good place to get some work done or just relax. I got the egg and cheese bagel and a blended coffee drink and both were absolutely delicious and made fresh. He really took the time to make them correctly. I was visiting from Michigan and i will make sure to come back to Gizzi’s for quality food and coffee. Highly recommend!

Great coffee shop! Reasonably priced, tables for studying, coffee is good, paninis were delicious. So happy I found a comfortable place to study that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg!

I’m always here after I watch the sunrise at the beach! The man who makes my coffee is always nice and makes it great. You can specialize your own. It’s a great price and you’re helping out a small business.

Dropped my car off to be serviced in the area and stumbled upon this gem. Great little coffeehouse with a Central Perk kind of charm. Great bacon, egg, & cheese bagel and cup of coffee… all for $ 5.50! It’s not not a spot for a quick bite… it’s THE spot!

Beware! Deceptive menu pricing! I visited for the 1st time this morning and ordered a small cup of coffee. On the menu on the window and the menu in the shop it was listed as $ 1.64 I was charged $ 2.00 I brought this to the owner’s(?) attention. His response… «Oh, that’s very old». I told him that it was both illegal and unethical to post incorrect pricing. (I have been unemployed for over three months now after being laid off from a job of 10 years and I literally watch EVERY penny I spend!) He really couldn’t care less about the incorrect menu pricing and made a lame excuse that the minimum credit card charge was $ 2 anyway. This should have been prominently marked and I didn’t see it. What kind of owner would risk losing a new customer over 36 cents? I didn’t want to waste my energy debating it so I paid and I left, feeling disgruntled. I have filed a complaint with the South Florida Better Business Bureau due to this shady practice and their unwillingness to correct their menu pricing. The BBB is a great resource and has been able to help me about 99% of the time over the years. I will check their reviews before even selecting a contractor, etc. I am NOT seeking a refund. I AM seeking for the menu to be corrected so others are not ripped off there! I will NEVER return. Treat this customer with disrespect and you will be smacked back down! One bullshit experience!

Local folks, great atmosphere, and some super sweet coffee pros behind the counter. I couldn’t decide, so the guy just asked me what I like and fixed me something up. I used to pass here all the time, but I think this is gonna be my new stop. I’m thrilled to find something like this in Boca/Delray. It took me long enough. A++

Things I look for in a coffee shop; Ample seating, free wifi, and quality food/coffee at reasonable prices. check check and check! Also the man who greeted me(the owner I think?) was incredibly friendly, which i found so refreshing. Additionally, the whole time I was there he was cleaning/rearranging things after people left to make sure everything was looking tidy. I wish I lived in the area because I would be here all the time!

Ice coffee, muy rico. Fast WiFi and location convenient to my auto dealer service center. Proprietor Andres, a hospitality industry veteran, seemed friendly, professional, and ready to please. Will return for a meal, preferably without a requisite car repair.

My fiancé and I have been on the hunt for a new coffee/breakfast spot. We found Gizzi’s when doing a local search on Unilocal and decided to stumbled over to it and check it out. When we first arrived there was only 1 other couple hanging out having coffee in there which we weren’t sure if that was a good sign being almost 8:15am on a week day. Plus side, parking was easy as they had a parking lot unlike a lot of the places in downtown Delray where it’s street parking. We were greeted by whom I assume was the owner. He seemed friendly and patient as we decided what we wanted to eat and drink. They a bunch to choose from. Sandwiches, paninis, pastries, muffins. Typical coffee house stuff. My fiancé and I both got egg sandwiches, he got his with sausage and cheese, mine just cheese. To drink I got a vanilla coffee and he got some more advanced white chocolate latte as he normally does. The breakfast was cheap. Only $ 3.29 per sandwich. It was definitely fresh made as I saw him scrambling the eggs. Not like the pre-made crap you get at Dunkin Donuts. The only semi turnoff was he microwaved the eggs as he didn’t have a stove. Sandwiches were served on your choice of bagel, wheat or white bread. I chose wheat and it was very good. Had some yummy grains in it. It was a decent sandwich that definitely tasted like sometime I’d quickly whip up at home. Since it was so cheap I wouldn’t mind spending an extra buck or two next time I go in and asking for extra egg or in my fiancés case extra sausage. The coffee was good. Great price and great size. Had your choice of small, medium or large. They have a million different options. All different roasts and flavors. They even have slushies, smoothies, iced drinks, cider, and kid friendly options. They have a huge wall of do it yourself fresh ground coffee with flavors like Snicker doodle, Mocha Java, Chocolate Fudge, Irish cream, crème brûlée and of course the basic roasts. They were $ 1 more per pound than we usually pay at the fresh market but on Tuesdays they offer buy 2 pounds get 1 free! The atmosphere was very nice. They had a cozy section of couches with a coffee table nestled by fireplace. Yes one of South Florida’s rare fireplaces. Haha. They also has larger tables for parties of 4 or more, high top tables or tables for 2. I believe I even saw a bookcase with games and books/magazines to play and look through. As more people started to come in we noticed a bunch seemed to be regulars. The man behind the counter greeted them and even knew some of their orders without asking. My fiancé agreed in a world full of corporate impersonable companies it’s nice to frequent a place that when you walk in they remember you from your last visit. I’d definitely head back to Gizzi’s again.

Have passed this place on Federal a gazillion times and finally tried it out after leaving Spot Coffee because their steamer was broken. I was pleased to see their assortment of organic coffees for sale by the pound, and felt a nice vibe inside with a couch and a couple of chairs near a fireplace, as well as some café tables scattered around. My shock came when they were selling Costco cupcakes at the front counter. Yep, they were selling them right out of the plastic containers, even with the white Costco sticker still on them! I get that it’s the Halloween season, and they wanted to sell«Monster» cupcakes, but why not sell something seasonal that, as a consumer, I at least THINK is locally baked??? If I want a Costco cupcake, I’ll go to Costco — which I actually DID do after leaving Gizzi’s, and confirmed the Monster cupcakes they were selling. C’mon, you can do better.

My experience at Gizzi’s was absolutely terrific… excluding Miss Congeniality(the barista/cashier) I went in today after driving by it a few times. I’m a Starbucks girl to the core but at the same time I love supporting local business. Not a huge lunch crowd there although I believe they do serve food. They have a varied selection of coffees and teas and when I saw Vanilla Soy Latte-I knew that’s what I wanted. So I ordered it and on the menu it said $ 3.24. She continued to charge me $.50 extra for the soy although the price was listed on the menu for a vanilla soy latte. Me: «Why is it $ 4 even when it says $ 3.24 on the menu./» Barista: «Because of the tax» Me: «So you’re trying to tell me that it is $.76 tax on a $ 3.24 drink? That seems a little ridiculous» Barista: «That’s what it’s telling me» I guess«it» was the cash register and not the creepy clown. Hmmmmm…something about that seems fishy. Yeah it may be only $.50 but it’s the principle of it. You all have to understand I am part Polish, I am all about pinching my pennies So I finally got my latte and hunkered down by the fireplace. I am down for any place in South FL that has a fireplace! They have the most comfy leather chairs I have sat my tush in in a while and after sitting in a hard, cold chair at work, it was most welcomed. They have magazines for you to look through while sitting along with free wifi. The latte was good-not horrible, not orgasmic, just good. I would go back to support Gizzi’s since I dig the feel they have going on but I will make sure homegirl slice is not running the register next time.
