Had dinner there last night. Food and service was great. Just one suggestion: perhaps when someone orders the chopped Steak, your chef should make an effort to not just slap a hamburger Patty on the plate and make something that actually looked like they had a little pride in what they were doing. If I wanted a hamburger without the bun, I could have ordered that and paid half the price. What I really wanted was a Chopped Steak!

Great place to enjoy a tasty meal at a reasonable price in a pleasant setting. After suffering through a handful of strip mall asian restaurants populated by rude wait-persons serving tasteless over-cooked food, it was refreshing to know that there are still some good choices for good food in southern Florida. Our dinner at Henry’s rated a return visit in the very near future.

Henry’s is a nice restaurant with great service and nice atmosphere. I ordered a steak that was cooked well and tasted great. My companions dish was less than stellar. Crispy Duck was far from crispy. Not good. If the skin is not crisp, it tastes greasy and a bit gamy. The prices are high for what you get so I expect a little more. The desert was big and delicious. Would I return? Not sure on this one.

Pretty upscale Resturant, but I guess I ordered the wrong dish. The scallops were undercooked and since I am not a fish or sushi eater I pawned them off as if I was full. Better order fast because we had an 8.00pm reservation and by 10.00 pm the place was empty. By 10.30 the bus boy rudely cleared our table. By 10.45 the manager was jiggling her keys so they could lock up. If she wasn’t so nice I would have said something. The clientele are seniors so I understand. I have been informed that the establishment closes at 9.00pm.

After hearing so much hype we decided to give Henry’s a try. Sadly, the restaurant did not deliver. The caramelized onion crusted snapper was not crusted at all. The onions were mushy and certainly not caramelized. To be honest, they were basically sauteed, tasteless and just spread across the fish. Once I pushed the mess of onions off to the side, the fish was at least tolerable. I asked our waiter Cory for no mashed potatoes and just some extra veggies but of course, mashed potatoes showed up on my plate. Hello??? My husband had the 12oz NY strip steak. I watched him chew, and chew, and chew and finally he said he just could not chew any longer. The meat was so tough it was impossible to swallow. Cory replaced the steak with the Miso salmon and that was actually pretty tasty! Known for their carrot cake, Cory said we just had to order it for dessert. Within minutes he came back placing side plates and forks at our table in anticipation of our delectable dessert. As our mouths began to water Cory returned with bad news… no carrot cake left. Wow, 9pm and their all-star dessert was sold out? All in all, not a great night. Would we return. Highly unlikely.

I was invited to dine at Henry’s to try out an assortment of both their new menu items and some customer favorites. We started out with a selection of appetizers: The Tuna Napoleon, Lobster & Shrimp Flatbread, and Poached Pear & Crispy Goat Cheese Salad. I enjoyed all three, although — eater beware — the garlic flavor in the flatbread was quite potent! I would have been perfectly content with just the salad, which I found truly delicious, but there was more eating to be done! Next up was a sampling of three of their entrees: The Caramelized Onion Crusted Snapper, Chicken Saltimboca and fall-apart slow cooked Short Rib(of which I took at tiny nibble since I’m not a red meat eater. The flavor was excellent.) All three dishes were flavorful and beautifully plated. But the real showstopper, as frequent visitors know, was the dessert plate. Though the rich Warm Chocolate Molten Cake, tangy Key Lime pie and luscious Coconut Cream Pie were all lovely, the were quite literally overshadowed by a towering piece of Six Layer Carrot Walnut Cake. You can see servers parading around with these mammoth cake slices throughout the dining room all evening long as I’m pretty sure that the first order of the night piques the interest of surrounding diners and beckons for a taste. Overall, my dining experience at Henry’s was great, and the service was outstanding. It’s no wonder the dining room was bustling; it seems locals know a good spot when they see one.

My wife, 3 month old and I had dinner on the outside patio last week, Mon 3÷8÷16. we had a few apps., the tuna tartar, friend spring roles and the fontina truffle oil flatbread all were delicious as good as NYC restaurant! the service was great! Our waiter was very accommodating to our child. His name I think was Ilan, he said he was french and very professional yet friendly as if we had known him a long time. They say its hard to find good food and service in South Florida but there is a reason this place has been around a while and packed on a mon night!

We have dined here a few times and found the food very good! The place is packed with regulars every night which told me we made a good choice when planning to meet up with friends. The menu is filled with classic dishes as meatloaf, pastas and fresh fish… really something for everyone! The desserts… well to die for! This is definitely a DONOTMISS!

Had lunch at Henry’s for the second time and both visits were very good. No problem getting a table right away. Nice staff. Good waitress. Very good food. I had a blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich. The fish was perfect. My wife had a Mediterranean salad and loved it. Portions were ample. So why only 4 stars? Our 2 dishes and 2 iced teas came to $ 47 with tip, which I thought was a bit high for a sandwich and a salad. Should have ordered from their«10 for 10» menu, which offers good value if you like one of the choices.

Sorry, Henry’s, but this review is going to suck because we had a mediocre experience Saturday night. And the food was quite good. We had a 7:30 rez for the outside patio. Got there at 7:20 and it’s a mob scene. But hey, we have a reservation. Except that the hostesses at reception are indifferent, uncaring, inattentive AND it turns out they can be lobbied and bullied by others in line. Instead of hovering constantly at the reception desk, we actually hung out and talked to each other in an area where the wait staff kept running into us. Big mistake. We were told one party was ahead of us for an outside table, we watched as two parties were seated outside. Not a word to us and we can’t even get the hostesses’ attention. It’s now 7:50 and no table in sight. We call over a manager. He’s sympathetic and tells us we’ll be seated outside in 2 minutes. Five minutes later, he suggests we go in the bar and he’ll buy us a drink. No thanks, we want our table. Ok, he says, 2 minutes. Five minutes later, a hostess calls us and take us out to the front of the restaurant where they have 3 – 4 tables along the parking lot. No, we explain, we requested the patio and were told that’s where we’d be seated. Five minutes later, we’re seated. On the patio. Our server? Friendly but inefficient. It’s impossibly slow to get water, much less refills. No one ever checks to be sure our dinners are prepared well. Every interaction, we have to initiate. Did I mention the food was excellent? No matter — the customer experience sucks. There are too many other restaurants to choose from. Adiós.

3 words for you… KEYLIMEMARTINI Honestly, after having this martini I could quite possibly just drink my necessary monthly intake of key lime pie. It is made with key lime curd and the balance of sweet and tart is perfect! Also, best carrot cake I have ever eaten(and I have tried a lot) 6, yes 6 layers! For these two items alone, I would say go and try it, but the food they have to offer will also not disappoint! Oh, and kids eat free any day!

Not sure why all the bad reviews. I went for lunch ordered the poco tuna appetizer and it was great. Tuna was raw as it is supposed to be. Sauce was pleasing and bread was yum! I do agree with other reviewers that clientele was on the older side and the music was geared to that clientele. I would go back when I am in the area

The best part of the meal was our waiter John. He was funny and lighthearted. Food was average at best! Acoustics are horrendous. The din of 75 year olds was deafening. The sorry we can’t seat incomplete parties is a customer service nightmare as everyone jams in on the 7 foot sofa trying to argue there way to a table. Tuna poke was seared, chopped and a mush. The chopped salad looked as old as clientele. Really who are you here for the servers or the paying clients. Just a really annoying restaurant if you are under 60. Guess it’s perfect for the surrounding neighborhoods. We won’t be back.

Very good restaurant. I’ve been here a couple times recently and got the same thing each time because the salad is so good. My boss is a regular here so this is where we go when he wants to take us out to lunch lol. He gets the same thing every time as well and the waitress always remembers his order. Next time I go I might have to get something else because I’m sure the rest of the menu is just as good!

HUGE fan of Henry’s! — definitely make a reservations through open table or call a day or so prior to ensure a table. There is both inside and outside seating. Inside seating(recently they added padded to the walls to help with the noise). Parking is free and there are spots surrounding the whole entrance of Henry’s. Loved all of our appetizers which I have posted photos : #1 the mushroom, leek, roasted garlic, truffle oil flat bread ! Wow the crunch on this flat bread and the savory sensations of the toppings have been on my mind since my first bite. it is not like a typical bready pizza esk flatbread, its what a flatbread should always taste like! The chicken spring rolls — were not my most favorite, i felt like there was too much ground up chicken and not enough veggies, but it was not a spring roll which i am used to. everyone i dined with LOVED the avocado that garnishes the roll. Very fresh for a deep fried item Brussels Sprouts — YUM with BACON ! Magical split Pea Soup — it felt very vegan which it was, i love that henrys has vegan options ! i personally thought it could use some spice, but im not a frequenter of split pea soup the consistency was great ! MYSALADWASAMAZING I WANTITEVERYDAY the Mediterranean one — with eggplant cakes — the eggplant cakes was the absolutely most perfection of cripsy on the outside, any latke potatoe«cake» should taste like Henry’s Eggplant Cake. WOW ! the dressing was light and lemony not too heavy and makes you feel healthy and refreshed. perfect balance of veggies to lettuce. you could also add a number of items to your salads — chicken, shrimp, tuna, mahi, salmon can’t wait to visit florida and go back to henrys !

Started with a pea soup and an exceptional squash soup. Family had Cornish hen, swordfish, steak, steamed clams, Flatbread pizza, meatloaf, and horseradish coated salmon. All delicious. The salmon and meatloaf were my favorites Hugé desserts. Nice atmosphere. GREAT service by valerie. !
