We worked together this past weekend on Margie & Marshall’s Wedding. The couple was beyond happy with their wedding cake. We got to tried the cake and we definitely recommend them!

Shea did our wedding cake back in 2012 and it was phenomenal (people still talk about how good it was!) so we went back to order a smash cake and cupcakes for my daughter’s first birthday. Kate helped us narrow down the style of decoration, and we opted for vanilla for the kids and rum cake with bavarian cream filling for the adults. The rum cake cupcakes were incredible — just like our wedding cake! It was great to work with Shea’s Bakery again — I will continue to use them as often as possible — might need to make up some more holidays so I can order more cakes. :)

Original intent was for traditional birthday cake for mom 85^th birthday party. so Shea’s had really good reviews. Though, mom decided she wanted Carrot Cake, and no reviews, opted to continue with Shea’s –ordered a 10″ round cake with decorations… Received non-​decorated cake, person who delivered said the decorations were the stucco frosting or tiers (huh?).see pix… The cake tasted of baking soda/​powder, and carrot flavor was not evident. The cream cheese frosting was too sweet –too much sugar, and not enough cream cheese. Overall, just standard cake, nothing special except $$ cost, and could have bought at any bakery.

Outstanding and outrageously good — I run out of adjectives to describe what is the best bakery in south Florida! I had the raspberry cheesecake this past weekend and the specially made cookies in the form of a bridal gown. Both confections were the best I have ever had — hands down, bar none. I never knew this wonderful young woman owned this bakery. I will order from her every time I need goodies and cannot praise her enough. She creates magic.

What could be more worrisome than ordering a birthday cake online from a bakery you’ve never heard of before? Well, worry no more. Just order from Shea’s!
We got my mom a 90^th birthday cake last week from them (Red Velvet w/​Cream Cheese frosting) and it was over-​the-​top good. The 10 inch cake probably weighed over 10 pounds.
My kids in LA are cake enthusiasts and they shopped around that city for weeks for their wedding cake. Too bad they don’t live in Delray Beach, because Shea’s was better by far! I just wish I lived closer so I could be a more frequent customer.

I came across Shea’s bakery when I was doing some searching on Unilocal.A friend of mine was having a wine tasting party and I decided to bring cupcakes to it since it was her birthday as well. After making a trip to the bakery and nobody was there due to a miscommunication, I was promised that the cupcakes I ordered would be delivered to me free of charge. Sure enough, it arrived when promised and they looked super cute. The red velvet with cream cheese frosting and lemon with lemon crème frosting were delicious. Good thing I ordered the mini cupcakes since we had a load to eat and drink at the party. Thanks Shea! :)

Hands down, this is the best «local» bakery in Delray Beach and Shea and her team will amaze you with her incredible decorations and flavors that will add instant pizazz to your desert event.
I have had the pleasure of using Shea’s Bakery for several events I organized and was 100% thrilled with the results and give them my highest «5 Star» recommendation.
I bumped into Shea (and her mom) at the VIP Anniversary Party at the Buddha Sky Bar in Delray and discovered that she was chosen to make the centerpiece cake for this red carpet party of several hundred people.
Wow, the cake looked like something out of a magazine or Food Network special and when it came time to celebrate, the entire restaurant watched the sparklers light up the cake and entire establishment.
The cake not only was magnificently designed and decorated, it also tasted great.

My first experience with Shea’s Bakery was when I was trying to find a Baker that could do a cake with almost 0 notice. We had just had a visit with our doctor, and found out the gender of our baby. We wanted Shea to bake a cake with either Pink or Blue to depict the sex of the baby and cover it up with White icing so we could surprise our friends and family.
Shea got this done for us soooo fast, and it was THE MOST DELICIOUS cake I’ve ever had.
I’m quite serious when I say that it would take them sending me away for me to buy a cake from anyone else ever again. We’ve bought 3 cakes from them in the last few months and I swear they are tastier every single time, amazing!

After looking and meeting with several bakeries — all too expensive or cupcakes too dry, or not enough flavors — I looked one last time online and came across Shea’s Bakery.
Shea is a high school student with a passion for cakes. She started a couple of years ago and has ever since dedicated to offer the best for every order she gets. She will meet with you, gives great suggestions, and the end result is amazing. She does all this and still manages to keep her school life, GPA intact… Very impressive.
In my first email I sent all the information for my event — my sister’s bridal shower — colors I wanted, flavors, quantity, etc. As mentioned before, I had been through other bakeries already and by the time I found Shea’s it was just 2 weeks before the event. They started immediately. They worked with our busy wedding schedule to meet with us for a tasting, and even suggested to include almond cupcakes which was a hit at the party and my sister’s absolute favorite. Cupcakes were all beautifully frosted, and the custom decorated ones I asked for were exactly as I had described them.
For the mini cupcakes the flavors we went with were:
Almond with almond frosting — perfect wedding flavor/​color combination, and my sister’s favorite.
Almond with strawberry frosting — pink was the theme color and she made it even more delicate by adding edible sugar pearls. These looked so classy and girly.
Carrot with cream cheese frosting — this was my favorite. Moist cake, and frosting not overpowering.
Red velvet with cream cheese frosting — a popular choice at any party.
For decoration, and eating too, I ordered big sized cupcakes, specially decorated for the theme. As I said before she was able to do exactly what I had envisioned. These were absolutely perfect and my sister loved them.
Can’t say how grateful I was to have found Shea in time for this day. I needed my sister’s bridal shower to be perfect and they played a big part in this. From that first meeting, when they welcomed us to their bakery with delicious cupcakes, a smile and treated us as friends instead of a client, to picking up the cupcakes, seeing how perfectly she had captured what I wanted, to after the event and them asking how it went and being sincerely happy for my sister’s wedding. They just make a connection with you, they don’t have the big commercial ‘here to sell’ attitude. They are quality, ”please the customer’ driven and we absolutely loved it.
Will definitely have them at my next event (s), I highly suggest you do the same
