Starbucks

Okay I’ve since returned to this location and have noticed that the music situation is MUCH improved. At a normal level.

When reviewing a SBUX, considering that the food and drink options in a region are the same, store to store, what does one look for and comment on? For me, its:
1) SERVICE, 2) CLEANLINESS, 3) STAFF ATTITUDE and 4) PARKING [not under control of SBUX, but worth a comment].
I’ve always found this location to have sharp servers, attentive, alert, welcoming, even if you are not one of their regulars, and they don’t know your name.
The store is clean, the tables cleared off, the window counter seating kept neat and clean. Bathrooms are clean and don’t smell.
Staff have a good working relationship with each other, the queue moves at a good pace.
Parking in this center is a challenge. Exercise caution when pulling out of your spot. These folks will blast through this narrow lot and smash into you, even if they see you pulling out of your parking spot. They appear to be your typical North Boca drivers, in a rush, don’t look or care about people pulling out of spots, will blow their horns as you attempt to do so, as opposed to stopping and allowing you to pull out.
Lots of busy retail stores, restaurants, and another food establishment adjacent to SBUX, and it is not unusual to find people with food from that establishment eating at the SBUX tables. Also note, in the mornings, there seems to be what I call the «Men’s Club», a group of aging seniors who take over 2 tables and ~8 chairs and have their coffee and engage in what appears to be lively conservation — for hours. It’s actually quite interesting and amusing to watch, if you are a student of sociology, as I am. I don’t have any issues with «the Club», it’s just a challenge to find outdoor seating when they are in attendance. Watching their facial expressions, they clearly are pontificating on matters of grave importance, and I hope they are able to solve some of the more challenging problems in the world, while caffeinating over their SBUX.
Of note, the Unilocalers who have given low rated reviews and negative comments appear to be friendless, review-​deficient, and possibly got up on the wrong side of the bed when they had their encounter. Accept their review for what it is worth — not much.

The worst Starbucks in South Florida!!! I have been to many Starbucks locations all over South Florida and this one is by far the worst. The service is terrible, the baristas are rude and incompetent, it takes forever to get your order (no matter how simple your order is), and more often than not, they get your drink order wrong and then make you wait forever for them to remake it, while giving you attitude even though they made the mistake. Even the drinks that they make «correctly» never taste the way that they’re supposed to. I’ve been to this location many times, and the problem has unfortunately gotten worse instead of better. There are many Starbucks all over Boca and Delray, so I would recommend that even if you have to drive a little further, it’s definitely worth it. Save yourself the hassle and don’t waste your money… Go to a different Starbucks.

I had a barista tell me to «Enjoy the spit» don’t go to this location if you want threats of spits in your drink and managers sitting by and not addressing this horrendous attitude. poor management.poor customer services

Convenient location next to a bank and across the street from Publix if you need a caffeine jolt while running errands. There are also a couple restaurants in the plaza and several across the street, making this a nice place to hangout with friends before going to dinner. The Starbucks itself is on the small side compared to others in the area, however, the comparably lighter traffic flow makes it a good place to sit and read. I’m usually in and out of here pretty quickly, but today I sat down for a while with a book. I took a table along the wall close to the door, and soon noticed there were a few ants scurrying on the wall. I was sitting next to the prep counter where people add sugar and such to their drinks, so perhaps the insects were drawn to that. After a while, I got another drink and subsequently switched tables for a while. The temperature indoors is kept pretty cool, which is great for warm Florida afternoons.

Great Starbucks. Nice staff. Clean atmosphere. They have a nice outdoor seating area.
