It is so hard to find a good florist when you just want to bring something unique for a special occasion. This was a wonderful shop where they were so helpful and made a special plant based on what I described my needs and wants were. And reasonably priced too. Wish I could post a picture, it wasn’t even flowers, it was a plant that needs minimal water. Thanks!

My wife (who is a floral designer), my 2 kids and I are from California and were in Florida for a surprise visit to my mother for her 80^th birthday. On the way to my Mother’s house from Ft. Lauderdale airport we searched Unilocal for a florist to pick up an arrangement for my mom. We stopped at the closest listing, but just didn’t see anything very interesting in their cooler. Then we navigated to Tamara’s which is a small flower shop in a strip mall and wow I’m so glad we did. We found a beautiful arrangement in their cooler and asked if it was available, and the woman at the counter replied «it can be», as if it was for an order but they were willing to make it available to us. It wasn’t the type of arrangement that you would simply find at a local grocery store or traditional florist. It was a piece of art! As I mentioned, my wife is a floral designer in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been for over 25 years, and was so impressed by the arrangement and passed on her compliments to the designer. The woman said «well you can tell him yourself». That’s when the owner/​designer Michael Mayer came out and he and my wife discussed floral designs, types of flowers available in Florida versus California, etc. Amazing floral designs, and priceless customer service! Worth a try.

A friend of mine from out of state ordered flowers from here for my 60^th birthday. She let him know how many, many years we have been friends, and how important this was to create the most perfect arrangement. It was over and beyond! Truly one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen! The back was as much of a work of art as the front. This will be my go to florist from now on!

Exceptionally snotty woman served me who read me the riot act because I was picking a couple of flowers from the case when nobody seemed to be around to help. Flew in from Manhattan to experience rudeness in excess of what I typically even experience in The City. No bargain, either!

I was in east delray Saturday morning and needed a birthday gift for a family friend. I Unilocaled for help. The closest florist that had high marks was this place. I just wanted a simple bunch for about $ 30 but soon found out everything is custom-​made. I grabbed my wallet tighter. Nicole, who was the only one in the store and busy at work offered a workable solution and took care of me right away, and for just a little over my initial budget. Although I don’t put a whole lot of thought into flowers, it was clear Nicole does. The attention to detail, from the selection of the flowers, to the arrangement, to the packaging and the hand-​made bow, was masterful. And the flowers were so fresh with such a fragrance, I was actually hesitant to hand them over to my friend when I delivered them. Highly recommend them.

A few days ago, I was shopping online for a flower arrangement for my precious daughter’s 21^st birthday. I live over 3 hours away from her and since I am currently undergoing cancer treatment and could not be with her on her special day, I really wanted to WOW her with a few gifts and some beautiful flowers. I Unilocaled florists in the area and I came upon Tamara’s Flower Garden. While browsing their site, I was very impressed with their flower arrangements.
On a Saturday afternoon, I called and spoke to Nicole and told her the situation and gave her a basic idea of what I was looking for. She was polite yet seemed rushed and so I wasn’t sure if I was bugging her or thought maybe she was just having a bad day. Anyway, she assured me that she would call my daughter on Monday and find out when she wanted them delivered to her job.
Although I figured it would be a Thursday delivery, my daughter requested them to be sent over that day (Monday).
When my daughter got to work that afternoon she was shocked to say the least because the arrangement was so beautiful! She was very happy and so was I.
I will always call Tamara’s for any flowers I need to send in the Delray area from now on. They did a very awesome job and I am very grateful that I found them.
PS: It is very hard to impress me with flower arrangements because I have worked in the business for over 10 years!

I wanted to send my best friend flowers for her birthday, but not just ANY flowers, so I searched the reviews in her area and Tamara’s photo gallery jumped off the page at me. The gallery shows exquisite work, very artistic and creative arrangements that are not the usual run-​of-​the-​mill flowers. I spoke to Michael and told him what I would like — fall colors — and he had wonderful ideas. He is an expert on flowers and very accommodating and gracious. My friend was in hospital and Michael said he would call and arrange delivery with the trauma center for when he was out of ICU … Talk about helpful. So glad to have come across this beautiful florist with a heart.

Just amazing! I was put in charge of getting flowers for a colleague’s last day at the office. I recently moved to Florida and had no idea where to go for a nice bouquet. I came across Tamara’s on Unilocal and a google search. I gave them a ring and spoke with Michael. He was incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and listened to everything I wanted, while still meeting my requests in my price range. On top of everything, at the 11^th hour I found out the recipient of the flowers was leaving the office early at noon. I completely panicked and called Michael to ask that the flowers be delivered first thing in the morning. He was incredibly accommodating and did his very best to meet the time constraint I had just given him. He even called me to give me an update on when the courier picked up the flowers! When the courier arrived (first thing in the morning, thankfully!), I was completely blown away by the quality and beauty of the flowers used in the arrangement. Thank you so much for the gorgeous flowers and being so easy to work with, Michael!

I contacted Michael to provide flower arrangements for my wedding on 08÷10÷14. I asked him to design a modern arrangement consisting of sunflowers, white roses and hydrangeas. I must say, he lived up to his promise and then some. Everyone was raving about how beautiful the arrangements turned out. He decorated the tables in sea glass and made my wedding a memorable one. Thank you Michael. I would definitely recommend this flower shop to anyone.

I just ordered flowers for my mother-in-law’s birthday. Couldn’t have been easier. Probably not the cheapest, but then I’m looking for nice quality, and it’s my amazing MIL. I liked the way he dealt with me on the phone. I trust that my MIL will love these flowers.

I was looking for arrangements for a funeral. After reading online reviews about local florists I decided to go with Tamara’s. I am delighted to say that the arrangements were absolutely breathtaking. I spoke on the phone with Michael who guided me thru my choices, he was extremely helpful and followed everything I requested to a T. At the service all the family members thanked me for the beautiful flowers. I was delighted and proud! In the future for all my florists needs I would not hesitate to use Tamara’s again.

I live in California, but my husband and I needed to have flowers delivered to his grandmother who was in the hospital in Delray Beach. I placed an order online with Tamara’s Flower Garden. They went above and beyond by calling the hospital to make sure my husband’s grandmother could receive flowers. It ends up she couldn’t because she was in the ICU. Tamara’s therefore called the hospital daily to check-​in until she was finally able to receive flowers a few days later. According to my mother-​in-​law and my husband’s grandmother, the flowers were beautiful. I was so appreciative of Tamara’s help and will definitely use them again when ordering flowers for my husband’s grandmother!

So… I was ordering flowers from Chicago for my mom who lives in Boca. After going through the Unilocal reviews of several places in the area, I decided to call Tamara’s. Though closed on a Sunday, I left a voice mail. I was called back that evening by Michael. He said, no problem, he could make a delivery the next day to her, and I should call in the morning, which I did.
He was a pleasure to talk to. Michael asked what type of arrangement, price point, etc. He then followed up by asking my mom’s style. I explained to him how her condo is decorated. Now, my Mom is really particular when it comes to flowers. She’s not the type to gush over the typical floral arrangement. Her landscaping bills were more than most people’s mortgages, and then she did more flower planting by herself. Imagine the nightmare for a kid with flower allergies… Michael nailed it. His arrangement threaded the proverbial needle.
How fortunate indeed, that Tamara’s does not put out «typical.» Rather, Michael is an artist using flowers as his medium, and not just a run-​of-​the-​mill florist. My mom instantly wanted to know the name of the store (Tamara’s) and who did the work (Michael.) These flowers truly mad her birthday happier.

Tamara’s Flower Garden was one of the choices. Immediately, I checked out their website
. The arrangements that are in the photo gallery are absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t go through the whole gallery, because after 20 photos I was sold! I needed my Mom to be part of this splendor! I call to schedule the flower arrangement. The woman on the other end of the phone was polite, professional, and friendly. There was no particular arrangement that I had in mind, nor the flowers. However, I told her I wanted the arrangement to be colorful and fun. Plus, I had a budget. She was understanding.
I had no idea what to expect. But I was hoping my Mom would call me, saying she loved them!
After about an hour, I received a text message from an unknown phone number. It was the person creating the floral arrangement. The pictures you see as part of the review, are the pictures I received. Not only did he send the pictures. But he also described the flowers. I was ecstatic as to the detail and level of communication. Furthermore, my Mom received the flowers the same day! Now, that is service!!!
My Mom loved the flowers! And, that the aroma filled the house.

I sent my mom flowers for her birthday. She loved them. Said the whole house smelled like a garden. The arrangement lasted for quite a long time.

I was headed down to FL for a week long visit with my boyfriends parents. I wanted to send some flowers before we got there, telling them we look forward to seeing them, etc. I called the store and the owner answered. He was extremely helpful, knew exactly what to do. He even did same day delivery for me! He also helped me figure out what to write on the card. He got right to business. This guy knows his stuff!
If you look at the website you will see that these are not gawdy (1800 flower type) flowers. When I arrived three days later I was able to see the bubble flower arrangement that he put together for me and it was great! My bf’s parents loved them, and even said it was very different than the big chains and they loved that it was unique.
This is the place to use — no doubt. Also, I love that the owner answers the phone, and is in the shop. This is company is his passion, and that is obvious when you speak with him.

I was on the receiving end of the flowers and I must say I was truly blown away! The arraignment was put together so beautifully, from the vase to the detail in the vase and the flowers were perfect!
My fiancé said that they were very accommodating and pleasant through the ordering process.
I am a HUGE fan of supporting your local florist and not those big companies. Tamara’s is the way to go!!!
