quite possibly one of the only true coffee shops in Delray, I’m gonna miss them at 660 Linton and hope the rumors are true they are staying near by. excellent coffee and exceptional empenadas as well as desserts. I’ve scored a few pieces of art off their walls as well.

Second time here(first being Monday) so in saying that LOVE it! Such a relaxing vibe — take a seat even if it’s for 5 min to ‘wine’ down. local art and food. The two people that I have meet there are the sweetest and will answer any questions you have. Food and drinks fresh and delicious! This place is a must! Will be returning later this afternoon because it’s so good and I kind of have too :) thanx Daniella! FYI this Saturday they are having a art show with live music(all local artists)!!

Really cute café. Came on a Monday with a friend for a cup of joe. They serve panther coffee which is hard to find north of miami/Broward area. I got a cold brew and my friend got a hot machiatto. Both of our coffee were yummy. They have a loyalty system they punch hole a coffee sleeve and then you get a free empanada or coffee once you’ve reached the desired punch holes(I forget how many). I didn’t have any of their food but it looked yummy. They have a small retail area and it’s all local items. A funky relaxing vibe inside where you could just kick back and enjoy. They also have art shows at night and even serve some beers. It’s a must visit café!

Stopped by after they had been closed for a while. Daniela saw us looking through the window and waved for us to come in. She was cleaning up and prepping for an art show event but insisted that we order whatever we wanted. We had a peach and vanilla bean empanadas, latte and hibiscus tea. Everything was great and Daniela was warm and so friendly that we can’t wait to go back!

This place is great. So much personality and style. It’s so well hidden too. This place is perfect any morning. The tea and coffee and food. Whatever you get, you will love. High quality and great service. I come here with my friends every morning I can.

Good coffee, very welcoming staff, cute atmosphere in an unexpected strip mall off Linton. Quality of food is great, just wish it was a little cheaper(or the portions just a tad larger)

Came here for the first time. It’s such a cute place! Had a chai latte and the lunch special, which was lentils, rice, and a fresh salad. I’m not a vegan, but it was delicious and I would def order it again. Will definitely be returning to this place.

Empanadas were Excellent, Staff Friendly, but Slow and Pricy. I’ve been here numerous times and each time I go in the menu is different — not that, that’s a bad thing, I like trying new items — it’s just that I never know what to expect. This most recent visit(and the previous ones) was just okay. The service was really slow, maybe they were short staffed but the young women behind the counter seemed a bit frazzled. I didn’t mind the wait so much but, once we were at the counter we still didn’t have her attention as we had to repeat our order a couple of times, and then when it came out it was still incorrect. Then a gentleman behind us asked for the quickest food item, and she suggested an empanada, which takes 7 minutes. She immediately popped his in the oven but had yet to drop ours in??? So we waited for 15 minutes to receive our Iced Tea & Chai Mate Latte — then another 5 – 10 minutes for our two empanadas. The food was worth the wait! We had the pork and spinach empanadas — both were delicious. The pork had great flavor and both were stuffed in a great flaky pastry dough. The Latte and Tea were also refreshing. We really liked that they had so many healthy alternative options — Vegan and GF items as well as Almond or Coconut Milk offered instead of regular. It seemed a little expensive — for two drinks and two empanadas our check was $ 19 and change. The space itself is super cute and they have open mic nights and other cool events — which we’ve attended in the past. Also, the staff openly acknowledged our wait time and apologized multiple times — which shows integrity and a true respect for their customers happiness — which goes a long way! We will definitely stop by if we are in the area, if just to support a local spot and get another empanada :) But, not a place we would go out of our way to return to.

Stopped by for a quick cup of coffee and ended up sitting outside with a sandwich. The café has a funky, relaxed feel complete with games and books available for customers. My BLTA sandwich was good, though I wish they had listed the fact that they used a mustard spread because I definitely would have left that out for mine. They were kind of busy around 2pm on a week day which was surprising. Maybe 2 patrons inside and a few more outside? Only one woman working and she definitely seemed a bit frazzled, but was very nice. They serve Panther coffee which made me happy, so I’m sure I’ll be back.

This is what most people expect a coffee shop to be if they are not part of the Starbucks Clone Army. This nice little shop has a very chill vibe, art lined walls, a nice pinch of kitsch and it’s own signature food items topped off with a favorite of many local coffee connoisseurs that is not normally found in these parts(Panther Coffee). Like other coffee shops of the same type, The Beat Cup has it’s own personality and style. Not too artsy, not too hipster, not too retro, the crew here has really dialed in to a nice ambience that is inviting and comfy. We came in on a hot day and both got cold brew(iced) Panther Coffees with a slice of banana bread and an apple empanada. The coffees were top notch, and it being our first time trying Panther, we found it to be a great coffee with a unique flavor all it’s own. The banana bread is definitely some of the better I have had, served warm and having coconut baked in, it really set the flavor off. The apple empanada was nice and light and tasted more toward the tart side. To be honest, as I write this, I am still thinking about that coffee. Nice. The ambience here is pretty laid back. The front half has a quasi-country kitchen meets friendly neighbourhood coffee shop complete with their homeade quiche on display in the case. As you travel to the back half the shop’s feel shifts into a bit more of a chill hangout with a comfy corner in the back, and plenty of art and décor to relax in. There are also plenty of tables and outlets for those who need to get some work done or just need table space. It’s a very nice little coffee shop, and a great local gem.

Impressed that they have PANTHERCOFFEE! Woop Woop! Its a cute spot with tasteful décor and art. Its edgy, its hipsterish, its inviting… but zero atmosphere. It closes early and with only 2 tables of people, the lady seems crazy busy. I hope this place finds itself. If it were open later it might attract the college open-mic night type which would certainly give it some life. Elements area all there for it to be the ultimate coffee shop, will be watching to see what happens… Coffee:Awesome Pastries: Homemade — yum! To be re-reviewed soon.

I have been looking for a coffee spot like the beat cup. Jennifer who took my order was patient, helpful and considerate. A big plus in the service industry! They serve all kinds of coffee concoctions and you can pair that with a warm slice of homemade quiche. The prices are medium to high but the atmosphere, flair and plenty of seating as well as free WiFi make up for it. The owner Danielle also told Me that on Saturdays and Sundays the have live music in the afternoons. How great is that! Will have to surprise hubby one of these weekend’s. You will feel at home as soon as you set foot in this shop! Now relax and enjoy!

I started going to the Beat Cup Café again recently since they have been under new ownership and I couldn’t be happier with the change! Was Beat Cup bad before… no not at all but is it a lot better now? Absolutely! First of all they still serve Panther coffee which is awesome! I would drive out of my way to come here just for that alone, lol!!! They completely redid the inside and made it look a lot more inviting and comfortable. It still has that old 90’s coffee house feel but not in a grungy way anymore and its better lit inside. The new furniture and set up really adds a nice and welcome change the place really needed if you ask me. You can tell the new owner, who is also the chef if I am not mistaken, really put a lot of love into the café. Other than the delicious coffee they also have freshly made empanadas and many other sweet treats ranging from tarts, to cookies, to these amazing coconut macaroons I have been lucky to try once before and I LOVEDTHEM! The empanadas are also really good and if you try the pork they serve it with this spicy sauce that is really, really good! They will always offer to warm it for you too even if you take it to go. They also serve beer and wine and they do live music on the weekends and are opened later until 8pm I think. Another cool thing about the café is how they support other local small businesses by selling their products in the café. You will always find things like homemade chocolates, lemonades, teas and other food type items made fresh and local which is a big thing for me because I love to support the community by buying locally made or grown products whenever possible. The café is in a long strip mall so it’s not very easy to see from the road, but trust me it’s worth looking for if you enjoy a good cup of joe!

Really great coffee. Got the macchiato and the cold brew. Cold brew had great fruity and chocolate notes. Really smooth and easy to drink without sugar or cream. The macchiato(Italian) was one of the best I’ve had. Coffee wasn’t over roasted and had a good amount of foam. Had caramel notes. Also got the guava empanadas, which had really good texture and wasn’t too sweet. Service and environment were also nice. Not too loud, dim lit, with open warehouse look.

Great neighborhood coffee. Glad to see such a high-end coffee experience reaching Delray off the ave. Bought a half pound of Panther and will definitely be returning. If you’re still going to Starbucks, please step inside and readjust your coffee worldview.

Solid coffee place in Delray Beach. They serve Panther coffee, which is rare outside of Miami. They have lots of funky art and board games you can play while just hanging out. I hear they have great handmade empanadas, so will have to try next time when I’m hungry. Service was super friendly, I will be back.

I found out about this place through Facebook one day. They had empanadas, and one of the things I really like are empanadas, so I’m always looking for the best empanada in town. It raised my curiosity about this place even more when they posted that they were serving Panther coffee, another of my food crushes, and I’ve been very curious about this coffee since a friend of mine does nothing but raving about its power to raise the dead, and that is literally what I need, something that powerful to start my day! So I decided to pay a visit and have my breakfast there. As you come in the whole place will just visually explode in your head! There is art everywhere! outside the café, inside, on the ceiling, I mean everywhere. As you can imagine the decoration is very artsy, they have tables, a couch, a chess table, a fuzzball table(yes! I love it!), vinyl records stand… It’s all very welcoming, I felt like I should have brought all my friends just to hang around and have a great time with my Panther coffee, which by the way I tried as a late espresso. Pure yummyness, and their empanadas do not fall behind! They have many flavors: curry beef, beef, chicken, ham&cheese, veggie, corn, guava&cheese… I had the ham & cheese, and the guava & cheese with my delicious coffee. The empanadas had a rich filling, the guava just dripped down my hands on my first bite(so good!). I spoke to my server and he informed that they are actually in the process to expand their menu, right now it consists of empanadas, soup, and croissant sandwiches, to quiches and salads. They will build a salad station, a small stage so live bands can play, and with that even extend their opening hours now closing at 8:30 pm on weekdays and 4:30 pm on weekends, also new they are open on Sundays. I forgot to mention they also carry craft beers and wines… This is a dangerous place, you can start in the morning with your Panther coffee and end up all the in the evening, still here, with a glass of wine in your hands and no clue to what happened to the rest of the day! *MUSTADDBOOKMARKALERT*
