Traveling in the area and happy to find this coffee place. I like the ambiance and my chai latte was really good. My friend ordered a cappucino and she was happy with it. Looks like they have live music and if I lived in the area I would check it out.

Cappuccinos came out quickly and at a good temp. My fiancé got hazelnut flavoring with hers and it was fantastic. The salted caramel cheesecakes were really good too! I’m usually not a fan of live music, but the musician was playing the jazz flute!

Not in the habit of giving bad reviews. But sometimes, I feel compelled to write one. The Grind cannot be in a better location. Because there’s no Starbucks at DMP, it’s the only place to get a good cup of coffee and a decent dessert. Only, the coffee drinks are never as good you expect them to be, and the desserts are never consistent. Case in point, I’ve had the tiramisu there before, and it was quite good. Last night, my sample had one inch of what appeared to be Cool Whip, one lady finger broken in half, and another inch of Cool Whip. That’s not tiramisu. Not even close.

NO! Why do you have to wait 10 mins for coffee at a Coffee Shop?

The WORST coffee and chai. When we asked for a refund, the barista said«we’re not Starbucks». They served me something they represented as a hot chai. It was steamed milk with a shot of chai flavoring. My husband’s coffee was so bad he threw it out. At least I asked for a refund. I’m no Starbucks lover but The Grind may have turned me into one.

This place is not open on a Saturday morning? It also does not offer cold brew coffee. Espresso is good.

Claimed their smoothie was made with frozen fruits, however, what I tasted was syrup and food coloring. She could’ve just told me they don’t have real fruit. Wasted 6 bucks and wasting my time giving them a bad review.

I have visited this café a number of times because of the convenience of location to me. Each time I go I vow never to come back. Filthy inside, dirty tables outside with cigarette butts everywhere and flies galore. But the worst is the unfriendliest owner with long white hair who has a stone face, never a smile or thank you. This place needs to close the sooner the better!

The coffee was decent enough, but the people there didn’t even know what cold brew coffee was when I asked for it! That’s a pretty basic coffee shop item and a very reasonable question. Unimpressed with the service.

3 strikes, you’re out Those who know me know I am fair when reviewing. While far from a profession restaurant blogger, I know what I like, and what I don’t like. Things I don’t like: Flies everywhere, buzzing my head and landing on me when I’m trying to unwind with a good cup of tea Staff that is genuinely disinterested in the customer. So much so that a simple smile and thank you isn’t a plausible expectation. 3rd time at The Grind and yet again… «Who Let The Flies Out» should have been playing in the background. Service? Well, at least this young lady smiled then took my money… then proceeded to bitch and moan about her job, alluding to the fact she was looking for employment elsewhere — Good, because at the rate this place is going, it won’t be around much longer. Sound harsh? Maybe — but you go to a coffee house to chill, to relax, to unwind — The coffee, tea are ok — the pastries are actually quite good. But nothing is worth the consistent bugs, poor people skills and horrible parking situation — As much as this pains me to say, you’re better off at Starbucks —

With two $ 20 gift cards in our hands burning holes in our pockets, my husband and I ventured into The Grind to finally use them. We received them over the holidays, so have had the gift cards about 4 months. We ordered coffee, sandwiches, and my husband ordered a cookie. The total was $ 32. Yes, $ 32 for just that. While the food menu is good, and the dessert choices are typical, the pricing is outrageous! What was worse is that our gift cards were declined. Thankfully, the cashier went to the back of the café to talk to the manager who informed the cashier that gift cards are no longer taken, but said they’d let us redeem ours. Because we were under our $ 40 redemption, we ordered more desserts because we would have forfeited the remaining $ 8 left on one of the cards. As recent as the DAYBEFORE, the cashier said she’d accepted gift cards. Besides the oddness of the gift card redemption process, the service was just ok – nothing special. In fact, when our cashier told another gal(making sandwiches) that we’d like two caprese sandwiches, they both snickered. It must have been an inside joke, or the gal just got tired of making sandwiches or something. I don’t know. The coffee was very good though, as I like a dark and bold roast. I wouldn’t return simply because the prices aren’t just high, they’re really ridiculous, and the service was just ok. I’d rather go where pricing is reasonable and good service means something.

Finally! A coffee shop with almond milk! And their gluten free salted caramel biscotti is delicious! Can’t wait to come back. Love when local places are allergy friendly.

Redoing my review –unfortunately. First time I was here, I loved it. Every subsequent time has been more disappointing than the last. Coffee — every time since my first visit tasted like it was sitting forever, be it a hot cup of Joe, an espresso, a cappucino, a latte, a frozen coffee drink!!! What’s up with that??? Plus… Is everything made from a pre-made mix here? All the drinks are waaaaay too sweet, and when you ask for a customization, it’s «Sorry, we can’t do that.» Also, every dessert I’ve had there has been so overly sweet my teeth hurt!!! And then I found out the people at Bella Amici next door own The Grind, too… And now I understand. Too, too, too bad. They’re in the greatest location, across from the theaters. They sell what everyone is looking for before or after the movie… but I’d rather go to The Cinebowl Grill in the theater for coffee, and listen to the din of the bowlers than be disappointed with what The Grind serves up. Can someone who knows what they’re doing take this place over(and the Italian joint next door), and make it what it should be, please!!!

They have a nice selection of coffees and pastries. I sampled their Rugalach and it was very fresh and delicious. I won’t make a trip out there to get anything but if I’m in the area, this will be a stop for me.

Came here about 11am on a Sunday. It seemed relatively not busy, but there was only one person managing everything. They were out strawberries and bananas for smoothies. So my fiancé got a Passion fruit smoothie. It tasted fresh and good. I got a simple turkey and mozzarella wrap, it was very good and tasted really fresh. It got busier as we were waiting for our food, and it seemed like an owner decided to help out. They had live music, which is always nice for the atmosphere. I would definitely go back, just not when I am in a rush.

Subject: Breakfast sandwich gone bad Upon entering your establishment the employee were surprised to have a guest, one scattered into the kitchen and the other greeted me at the counter, I asked for a menu and was told they only have the tv board which I could not see because I did not have my glasses, I asked for a breakfast bagel sandwich and was informed they didn’t have any today because we are slow from the Jewish holiday, I grew up in NY the bagel capital of the world and I know that this is no reason not to have bagels. she offered some kind on pumpkin bread and I said fine, she asked me 2 time what kind of cheese, I said swiss, ok this is where it gets bad. I had 10 minutes to observer your coffee shop, no music or tv on, just silence, the display for the muffins and cakes where all condensation so you barely could see the names of the cakes being offered, the plate were facing the wrong way and the biscotti looked like they were eaten from the plate and put back, the wall was scrapped and the crumbs were all over the display case, so I finally get my sandwich and was informed that there was no plastic fork, what do I need a fork for a sandwich, so back to Boynton to feed my family. It gets worse, I get home and open up the bag, no fricken bread, how do you make a breakfast sandwich without bread!!. So I called the coffee shop and no one answers the phone. wow must be to busy doing nothing… I would fire everyone and start over… sorry for being blunt but service like this will bankrupt you business in a month… feel free to reach out Dane Sent from Yahoo!
