Delicious, satisfying and healthy! Great service and clean. Loved it! We will be back.

Enjoyed our lunch there. Looking for someplace for something fresh and healthy, and this sure did the trick. Service was friendly, but not the most efficient. They were out of something, but quickly suggested a replacement.

I was very happy to find a vegan place in the area and the new vegan did not disappoint me at all. They are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but it was well worth the wait until Wednesday

I’m not a vegan, but I love The New Vegan’s food. Tasty, well prepared. It’s a tiny place and very much a labor of love start-​up. Perhaps one of my favorite things about this place is that the wonderful women who run it are pleasant and enthusiastic without that kind of «What, you’re not a VEGAN,» thing that so many of these places do, like you’re a part of some secret society. Good food is good food. I had a falafel burger with vegan «cheese» that was really first rate. It didn’t have that substituted thing problem, where the «cheese» is like rubber, or something else is off. It tasted like any other good food I’ve had with real cheese.
It’s a small kitchen, so the menu riffs on a lot of the same ingredients combined in different ways. I would be delighted to give this place a fifth star, which I know it can earn, by adding a couple of other items here or there that showcase some of the taste and creativity that I see here in the opening rounds of their menu’s evolution.
These are very talented chefs making honest, interesting and tasty cuisine that should not be overlooked by the carnivores. You don’t have to be Chinese to eat Chinese food, and you don’t have to be Vegan to appreciate good vegan cuisine.

Delicious, fresh, and friendly. The portobello burger was made with quality, fresh ingredients and tasted amazing. Look forward to coming back, so many interesting items on the menu. If you are looking for delicious, plant-​based alternatives this is the place to come.

Service was very friendly, but not super fast. It was a Sunday morning with about three other tables receiving service while my friend and I were there. At first we were seated a at 4 top (we didn’t ask for this), then we were asked to move to a 2 top. We sat outside, but my oh my the table and chairs are wobbly! Be careful.
The menu was limited to breakfast only. I was disappointed, as I wanted to try a sandwich, but next time I suppose.
My friend ordered the cinnamon french toast and I ordered the french toast bagel. Both were presented beautifully, with fresh berries and banana slices on top. For gluten free, these dishes were spot on! We both gobbled up our food quickly and were pleasantly full.
Next time I am in town, I would love to try their lunch or dinner menu.

This place is a small owned family business with delicious food! Everything tastes amazing and the service is great. It is also in a perfect location just off Atlantic so easy to find parking. I highly recommend even if you are not vegan!

This might be the most amazing meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant for the price. The flavors were subtle, grown up, unexpected and delicious. The best burger I’ve ever had. The palm cake sandwich was absolutely phenomenal. The vegetables were perfectly fresh and the flavor combinations were just brilliant. The desserts! We had the carrot cake and the waffle. I don’t even like waffles but the texture and flavors were PERFECT. The desserts were not too sweet, just right. Again, the textures were on point. Now the staff/​owners/​family so friendly and knowledgeable. I liked that they gave us recommendations that we completely loved. It is clear they are passionate and really believe in their product, which is so important and hard to find In restaurants these days. Run, don’t walk to the New Vegan because you will be blown away by how incredible it is.

We ate here twice over a 4 day trip and absolutely loved the food and the welcome!

Delicious food and many raw options was my savior while I was in Delray (being on a raw food cleanse). Their raw pie was so good I had it twice in one evening. Wish they had a location in NYC.

So I’m not really vegan but my husband is trying to be– I must say pleasantly surprised! Had the «ZLT» zucchini bacon — gotta say very tasty/​my picky 11 year old liked the Mac n cheese and liked his burger but probably next time would go without the sauce — I tried it and it was very good! Friendly and knowledgable staff willing to take the the time to explain ingredients:) only thing is that maybe they could have a better outside area but otherwise I must say I will be back to try more dishes!

Absolute BOMB!!! Great food, all ingredients are very fresh and of a good quality. Wonderful interior with a flair of New York. Great atmosphere and in a few minutes of walk from beautiful Delray strip. Wonderful service, very fast, and they accept credit cards (not cash only). Great neighbourhood. Terrific family business. I just moved from San Francisco and was so happy to find this place. Totally coming back!

I just went back to the new vegan yesterday. I must say I really do love coming here and the food is amazing. Now that they have updated the café the space is quite pleasant to be in even though it is on the north side off Atlantic Avenue. This is the only true vegan restaurant now in Delray! I really love how friendly the owners are they truly treat you like old friends. The only problem area that I have encountered many times seems to be their schedule. A few times now I have checked Unilocal for hours and it is not consistent with the hours posted. Maybe they have updated but last I looked there sign on their door clearly states open from 10 AM to 10 PM. Just really wish for some consistency. I tried to celebrate my birthday here and could not go because it was on a Tuesday evening even though it clearly stated on Unilocal that the restaurant was open Tuesday evening for dinner. Also I was truly interested in there to go program of their burgers however I am not interested in being part of a membership program. If those two things were fixed I would definitely say this is a five star.

Ok I’m new to the whole healthy eating lifestyle thing. I love this place!!! I came with my mom and sisters for breakfast and had the vegan waffles and fell absolutely in love. Thank you for providing delicious & healthy food for my family. Can’t wait to try your superfood mix.

It’s hard to find good vegan restaurants across this country. Usually, you’ll find them in high-​density for the well to do like this area in Palm Beach County, Florida. Our visit stemmed from the recommendation of a friend — the most effective form of advertising.
This restaurant won an award in 2015 for the best alternative burger in the area — their Boco Burger (a mushroom-​based patty).
During our visit, my wife ordered the Boco Burger and I ordered the mushroom burger off of the menu. Both were scrumptious. I also ordered a bowl of their green soup. It also was tasty with a unique semi-​spicey flavoring.
The cost? $ 46 not including tip. Payment is cash only.
This is a family-​run business and a labor of love for the owners. They are enthusiastic about what they do this attitude carries over into their food and service.

This place is amazing! We had falafel pasta salad, the crab cake sandwich, a side of Mac and cheese, and a waffle with ice cream for dessert. The flavors and seasonings are perfect. The rice was delicious and had kale in it. I want to learn how to cook it! I found out they do offer a cooking course the first Monday of each month which I hope I can make it to soon. The owners are both super friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean with nice background music playing. It was busy when I went which is great because I love being vegan and going to vegan restaurants so I hope they continue their success. I can’t wait to try their breakfast menu next!

Had the falafel burger earlier this week and today had the mushroom burger! Everything was beyond good.
The rice is so tasty. The burgers are even better. The boom boom sauce is spicy with flavor. They have infused water that taste great and it’s refreshing.
And OMG the carrot cake is the best carrot cake I’ve had … Ever!
So good… Sooooo good!

This place is so very much more than a restaurant. It is lovingly ran by the owners/​family. I promise you that they will make you feel as if you’re eating at your favorite family member’s home.
No, I’m not vegan but neither are a lot of their fans. Simply put, if you like tasty and healthy food (who doesn’t?) you will throughly enjoy this place.
I love everything on the menu so I’m unable to make a recommendation.
Do yourselves a favor, if you’re reading this because you’re trying to decide wether to eat here or not, stop! Don’t second guess anymore, stop your search and make this your next dining choice. I guarantee that you too will be a fan.

I read reviews of THE NEW VEGAN and had been wanting to try it for a while now. Little did I know that this place has been around now for 2 years!
The outside does not look appealing but don’t let that fool you! Upon entering I found it was nicely decorated with wood plants on the walls, and modern yet natural feel to the place.
Rahein and Jon were both there waiting for patrons to come, they were SUPER COOL! Rahein is very passionate about the food and you can tell it’s more a lifestyle than just a restaurant.
I asked Rahein which meal would pack the most vegetable vitamins and protein and he said the Falafel pasta. I agreed to this and trusted that it would be good.
While we waited Jon kept us company and told us about their vegan journey and we ended up talking about all sorts of things. This made the time waiting for food pass quickly.
The to-​go boxes and silverware are made of corn not plastic– YES!!- When Rahein brought our to-​go orders out he opened the boxes and insisted we take a bite. The arromoa of the food was mouthwatering and I was excited to taste.
When I took a bite my mind was blown away and my mouth was off on a flavor journey! I can’t tell you how much flavor was packed into this MEAT FREE meal before me! Bits of greens and quinoa pasta rolled together with some sort of dairy free dressing or sauce! The black rice on the side also BLEW MY MIND!
NO matter if you are a vegan or carnivore, THIS PLACE ROCKS YOUR TASTE BUDS!
I was so happy I had to hug Rahein and Jon for the gift of their delicious food! Not only is it DELICIOUS, IT’S NUTRITIOUS!
I can feel GOOD about eating this PLANT BASED FOOD!
