Went here for Mother’s Day a few weeks ago. They accept reservations. Setting is real nice… btw, I think a good date spot. They do have seating outside. The Mongol Beef was outstanding I highly recommend it! It was probably our favorite dish. Also got the Crispy Duck… this was a good dish but would have preferred more sauce in it… a little on the dry side. Siamese Chicken was just ok… nothing out of this world. My 7 year old niece got the JB Roll(she’s adventurous, lol) and absolutely loved it! Finally, I noticed a lot of tables had ordered the Signature Lobster Pad Thai. It looked incredible and will have to try it next time. Overall, our dinner was really good. We were satisfied with our experience and hopefully will be back again in the near future.

Very nice people. The best food around town. I eat here whenever I have a chance. You can not go wrong. Everything is fantastic. If your in town you will be cheating yourself if you don’t visit. The chefs can also make you custom orders according to your liking. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

Sushi is fresh and delicious. I also recommend the lobster monster roll, red curry beef with brown rice, Mongolian beef, Crispy Duck, and chicken fried rice. The iced green tea is the best in town. Ambiance is nice. Busy on weekend nights.

Lesson #1: It’s called«The Sea» for a reason. Do not order steak here. Asked for rare and was brought medium. So, when they returned, they had brought a seared steak, very cold still. Rare, however, not like steak rare. That is my reasoning behind only 4 out of 5 stars. Everything else about this restaurant was amazing. The food, the drinks, the ambience. Just don’t order the steak if you like it rare :)

This place was awesome. Recommended by some local friends. We had a really great experience. Our server(Daniel) was attentive and recommend some of his favorites. We’ll make sure to visit when we are back in town again.

This was our first visit to The Sea. Very pretty restaurant and the hostess found us a table without reservations on a busy Saturday night. There are outside tables if you enjoy eating out. Our waiter was very helpful and recommended several dishes. My husband began with the steamed vegetable dumplings. He loved it and I tried it and thought the dipping sauce was just incredible. He ordered the tofu pad Thai for his main dish which he said was right on target. It had a lot of vegetables and had a great peanuty flavor. I had a vegetable sushi roll which was nothing above ordinary, but was fresh and fine. I did love the black/orange flavored tea which was wonderful. I was able to taste the fruity flavor of the tea which I thoroughly enjoyed. The prices are very fare for dinner and they have many lunch specials all priced extremely well. I will definitely come back for lunch and check out one of their more creative rolls like the lobster monster.

First visit to The Sea and thanks much in part to my excellent server Belle, I will be returning soon. I came without reservation on a busy Sunday night and took a seat at the small sushi bar. I was approached quickly and pleasantly by Belle and she expertly guided me to a small bottle of Nigori sake. While I was sipping the sake, I browsed the extensive menu. I am well versed in Thai food, of which The Sea offers plenty of the classics, but was in the mood for sushi. Belle returned to take my order, but I only ordered a little at a time, which I enjoy doing and she did not mind at all. Started with two pieces of Salmon Sushi and two Ikura Sushi. I LOVE raw quail eggs on my Ikura, but they did not have them. The chef told me they usually do not have them. For me this is devastating, but I still enjoyed my sushi. The salmon had a «Sunday» kind of flavor, meaning it had obviously been around since Friday… but was acceptable still. I loved the Salmon Skin Handroll, and I believe I am an expert at this dish. Here it was so crunchy and filled with crispy salmon skin… I did not notice any sweet eel sauce which is usually involved… but it was actually good without. Finally I had lobster and shrimp steamed dumplings at the suggestion of my server. These were hot and delicious served with ponzu and a mustard type sauce. I did not think the mustard went well with them. At the end I had a craving for some Tom Kha Goong(classic Thai coconut, shrimp soup) ordered medium hot. It was really excellent, and the chefs even gave me some whole Thai chiles to enjoy with my food because I like food hotter than the average pharang! Finally, and even though I was not hungry anymore. I enjoyed pineapple sorbet after finding out they were out of my favorite which is coconut. Belle is a good salesperson and great server… Good food is nothing without good service and The Sea has both!

Good food, good drinks. Did not like the atmosphere & by atmosphere I don’t mean the restaurants interior I means it’s super modern & pretty inside but I mean the clientele. Old rich people who look at you kinda wrong haha. I still had a great time, I try not to let people phase me. I had the Aloha roll & it was phenomenal. If you’re into fruit & shrimp tempura this is your roll to get! The lemongrass coconut soup was delish as well. Very rich. & I got a drink. I forgot the name but it had sake cranberry juice & peach concentrate. Very delicious didn’t expect it to be as strong as it was, so that was great. Very pricey though. Everything is at least $ 16/roll so keep in mind. But over all great food. Good service. Ehh clientele.

Ordered by delivery dude from The Sea last night, so far Asian restaurants in Florida has been terrible. But I have to say the sushi from The Sea was very good, I’m hoping it even better when I visit the restaurant(will update after I do

Good but not great. Don’t bother with the 20 $ toro appetizer– its good but small and I’d rather the plain toro than a dish that doctors it with sauce

This is owned by the owners of lemongrass. However this restaurant appears to have higher quality food. They also display the food in a more upscale way. It’s in west delray but worth the drive if you want fresher sushi. They are so overstaffed they literally clear the plates while you’re still eating. The spicy Mongolian beef is good and so is the duck. The majority of the restaurant was eating sushi when I was there. They have plenty of parking it’s located in a large shopping center. They have indoor and outdoor dining. Decent prices

First timer. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the presentation was great. This is truly a high end Asian dining experience. The waitress was attentive and efficient. The restaurant was busy, but food still came out quickly. Only downside is that it was very hot inside. Wouldn’t have been nice to have the AC d cranked down another few degrees. Would definitely go back.

Great little all in one Asian spot. Their menu had a really great variety of choices from sushi offerings(loved the naruto rolls and their selection of specialty rolls) and also entrees like the spicy Mongolian beef, which was outstanding. The food quality was great and the presentation/plating was thoughtful as well. As for the atmosphere, The Sea is quite a beautiful spot to sit in and have a drink or a meal. The vibe is very laid back, the noise level was spot on for a place of this size, and the décor was quite eye catching. And the service… impeccible. The staff couldn’t have been nicer, checking on us every so often but not so much that they seemed intrusive. The food showed up really fast too. All in all I would definitely recommend The Sea. Five stars.

This was a first dine, invited by a couple who live in West Boca. I’m an East Boca guy, and for those who know Boca, they will understand the difference. Saturday at 7:30 pm. THECROWD: Older West Boca couples who likely live in one of the gated high end communities all along Jogg Road. Garish. Loud. Too much makeup for folks in their 70s and 80s. Too many men in their 80s with tight designer jeans, loafers and no socks. And their wives dragging them by the arm. Too many Bentleys and Mercedes in the very difficult to navigate parking lot. ALMOSTGOTKNOCKEDDOWNWHILEWAITING FoR TABLE. LIKEFOLKS, YOUGOT $$$ ANDNOMANNERS? Note: I’m not age discriminatory, just giving you a sense of the crowd. Not for us. NOISELEVEL: incredibly loud. Music? Who could tell. LAYOUT: clearly they were violating fire codes if anyone in Boca monitors this. The tables and chairs were on top of each other. Lots of different style tables. Couldn’t sit at sushi bar cause tables were jammed up to the sushi bar chairs.(We sat outside almost in the parking lot cause they could not find a reservation even though the couple who made it insisted they had one. Can’t blame Sea for this. I’m a former senior Fed employee and learned to confirm everything twice. Obviously not done by my friend.) so it was a blessing not to sit inside. SERVICE: it started well with waiter introducing himself. Went downhill from there. He was missing in action. We needed to ask someone else every time we needed something cause he wasn’t attentive, and still wait and wait. Brought a bottle of wine, never poured it. Brought one bottle of bottled water, had to beg for a second. Never brought the sushi appetizer until we asked for it 4x…(It was for the other couple, I would have said forget it.). Was it his fault or management? Who knows, I can only assess his performance. He likely was overwhelmed with this crowd who acted like they had never eaten Thai or sushi before. FOOD: well, it was 5 star quality. Great soft shell crab roll. Unique veggie dumpling, some type of green spicy used instead if the usual dumpling. My sea bass was excellent but a small cut compared to LEMONGRASS, owned by same management(some staff from Lemongrass East Boca were there) WOULD I RETURN? No. I’m not into this scene.

Outstanding sushi and Asian food restaurant. I was here twice and had excellent service and dinner both times. Make sure to try the many flavors of saki, I tried the 3 sample selection and it was really nice. This restaurant is the same owners as Lemongrass and I can honestly say that this place is far better. The décor is awesome and the menu is huge. The calamari appetizer is very good, the shrimp tempura was good, the ahi tuna was excellent. My favorite roll was Sex on the Moon — yes that was the name and I felt like a dork ordering it, but man was it good. I, for sure, will be visiting here often as I love sushi and Asian food.

Located at the far south end of a rather nondescript Florida strip mall is The Sea which surprisingly is anything but nondescript, possessed of a certain modern upscale décor along having an «in» type of upbeat chic elegance about it. It has a wide ranging menu that includes some 14 entrees, a good number of soups, salads, small plates, sushi rolls(oddly I could only find one sashimi though their«Fresh Cuts» actually serve as such), wraps and other items. I went for the«Spicy Conch and Octopus Salad» for a start which contained plenty of tender conch and octopus in a zesty orange with masago, scallions, cucumber and sesame. For my main I had the jumbo scallop plate which was really good and came in perfect presentation accompanied by a crisp basil, a grill seared eggplant, a zesty delicious green curry sauce and a brown rice. For Asian in this area, the food was about as good as it gets and the service impeccable. Another nice thing is that they offer«Fresh Cuts of the Day» as an «a la carte» with their tuna, which they term as «Toro,» being the very best as cut from the belly of the tuna. Though I’ve only dined here once, I have no hesitation recommending it.
