The family that runs the pizza joint is super nice. They’re actively involved in finding out what their customers want(fresh versus canned mushrooms, for instance) and their delivery drivers come all the way to north Deltona in record time with friendly attitudes. The crust is springy and chewy and their sauce is good. This is no snobby authentic Brooklyn joint run by guidos, but this shop has folks that are friendly, involved in the community, and deliver tasty pizza at a reasonable price.

The pizza was good, the price was 30.00 for 120 ” pizza w 3 topping. and no one could tell me why it was so expensive.

I found an ad by them offered on Google. I called them and after notifying them about the ad, they did not seem concerned and would not honor it. how can you trust a company that can’t honor their own coupons?

It’s pretty upsetting that Deltona does not have a decent pizza place anymore. Scorpio’s was never that great but their quality has greatly declined in recent years. Papa Joe’s was probably the best we had but it closed down a long time ago. Last night we decided to give Monster a try, after all with a 90% rating it had to be at least decent right? Wrong. First of all, you call up a pizza place and order 2 large pizzas, you expect that to be enough to feed 4 adults and 2 kids. Unfortunately, if you’re not familiar with Monster’s stupid sizes, you’re in trouble… Their medium is a personal pizza, their large is a small, their XL is a medium, their super is a large, and their monster is an XL at any other place. Of course, this was our fault for not knowing so not too much blame can be placed on them. What we can blame them for is the quality. Let’s start from the ground up, the crust. Anyone who knows pizza knows the crust is what makes it. Their crust is dry, dense, almost cake-like with no chew and no crisp and slightly resembles cardboard. I wouldn’t be surprised if their dough is shipped in frozen. The sauce is passable, no seasoning, slightly sweet, not bitter or acidic, not bad but certainly not good. The cheese was actually pretty tasty, and there was a good amount of it. Overall the look, texture, and taste of the pizza was reminiscent of high school cafeteria pizza, which actually might have been better. Hopefully someone will open a decent pizza place in Deltona sometime soon. Thankfully there are still a few good places in DeLand. Oh and I forgot to add, the girl on the phone was extremely rude.

I’ve ordered from monster quite a few times and if they are one thing, it’s consistent. The pizza and wings are pretty good… it’s no authentic NY pizza place but it’s good, and they make pretty good time, considering they are probably driving all over Deltona. Tried the fried ravioli and they are delish, will be trying more from their menu. Only wish they were open a little bit later on weekends!

Going to keep this very short and very simple… The good… Pies are HUGE! The bad… consistently undercooked and the sauce is okay but not great. Overall the pizza is good but nothing to write home about.

Everything I’ve ever ordered from there was mushy and undercooked and greasy not in the good kind of way. For convenience I’d order because they deliver, but the last time I had anything delivered, the delivery kid complained to me that my order was now making him get off work late. Oook, got it.

Definitely living up to the name. Price for portion ratio is great and different from all the other options such as «hot and ready» type places.

Please change your hours on Unilocal, they say you’re open from 1100 – 2300, but you guys don’t really open until 1600. I heard great things about the pizza. I lived in Italy for quite some time and moved back recently. I am excited to try something more«original» than the commercialized pizza.

If you are in Deltona, your choices for any restaurant are limited. If you are willing to drive out of Deltona you will certainly find better tasting, higher quality pizza. If you are looking for hand torn basil or olive oil shipped in from Italy you will not find it here. The toppings are not seasonal. The garlic knots are covered in garlic powder, not hand sliced garlic. Monster Pizza offers cheap pizza and a lot of it. If you need to serve a large group Monster Pizza is the place. Solo cups, paper towels, and a call to Monster Pizza equals a Friday night. Monster Pizza offers delivery and take out only, call ahead there is one seat to sit and wait.

We have sincerely loved Monster pizza since first bite, we threw out our other reward cards for the ‘other’ pizza places since that moment. The pizza sizes are awesome, cheese is completely perfect and topping choices are yum! Can’t wait for them to bring the Gyro back this is not lame fast food pizza, this is quality deliciousness!

Good Pizza from an ex-Chicagoan who knows great pizza! OK, I was beginning to wonder if there was a good pizza here in Central Florida. I asked my friends, who also moved from Illinois if there was a good pizza as we were not successful finding a good pie. They told us about Monster pizza. We thought we would give it a try. This is a pick-up or delivery place as there is nowhere to sit. We ordered a large ½ pepperoni, ½ sausage and all mushrooms. They were generous with their ingredients. The pizza was thin crust with the right amount of sauce and cheese. I must say that the pizza had fresh dough and was so yummy. I definitely would order from here again!
