Las Fuentes Mexican Restaurant

I am from tx, so I know good Mexican food, and this was excellent Mexican food!
Chicken fajita nachos were amazing! Just enough jalepenos and spices!
Cheese enchiladas were great as well! Had awesome flavoring to it.
Chips and hot sauce=heavenly!
WARNING: drinking more than two margaritas will have you dancing on the table!
Great service as well! Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Ok– my last visit here was not the best… We had reservations for a party of 15 for a Friday night at 6pm. Had relatives in town from Missouri and was looking forward to a fun night out. We arrived about 10 minutes till 6 and they did not have our table ready-​had to wait while they rearranged tables and chairs. No big deal– but that is the point of making reservations right? After we were seated we were startled to hear obscene comments and profanity coming from the table next to is. Several women were completely inappropriate and very loud. We had young children at our table ages 8 and 11 and was so embarrassed at what they overheard! The waitress or management said absolutely nothing to them despite the fact the entire restaurant could here them. They finally left on their own but it definitely didn’t start our dinner off on a good note. Moving on… When several members of our party ordered frozen margaritas we were told it would be a bit of a wait because «they had just turned on the machine!» Ok– so you didn’t think you would be serving margaritas on a Friday night? Ridiculous… So said margaritas arrive 10 minutes later and they are anything but frozen– just straight liquid :((So after the first drink, which was terrible, I asked if the machine would now be able to produce an actual «frozen margarita». I was assured by our waitress that it would be. #2 arrives and is just as terrible as the first!!! So disappointing! As far as the meal went– I ordered grilled chicken fingers with cheese sauce, rice and beans. The cheese sauce was cold and the beans were runny. The chicken was ok but also kinda cold. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because I have been here before with a large party and everything was great. They even have a mariachi band once a month which is really fun. I will give them another chance because Demopolis is a small town with limited food options but they really need to get it together!
