Had engine trouble on the way home from our Vacation. We were sent here from the truck shop off of the interstate I 65 N. Our engine light was flashing and she was running ruff! It was late by the standards of repair shops and I was dis hearted because I HAD to be home no latter than the next day! The young man Troy, whom had only worked here for 1 week, was kind and hooked up the code reader to our van. Unfortunately it will not read Hondas! Troy told me his MGR could help us with info on shops and hotels in the area. I went inside and spoke to Armond the Mgr. He was very concerned about us! He informed us of a few shops that might be willing to take a look. He made SURE that we knew auto zone does NOT have any affiliation and that these were only leads. Sure enough we found a guy and he was able to fix our van at 7pm at night!!! Armond was very informative, kind and made sure we were ok. He went above and beyond! My husband and I made it home safely that night! Oh, and in case you are wondering, the van was mis firing on two coils. The mechanic only charged us 50 bucks! And he isn’t a *backyard*mechanic.he owns his own shop. Accurate automotive. Only 5 mins from auto zone. The parts(in which they only had two!) Were only 102. Bucks. Such a great experience during such a stressful time. A big shout out to Auto Zone and it’s employees. I am now a huge fan. Thank you Armond &Troy. You helped save the day! God lead us ro the right place, and we couldn’t be more greatfull!
