The chicken strip basket with gravy is heaven! My orders from this DQ have always been correct and the proper temperature.

Spiffy DQ! A cheerful chap greeted me at the drive up window. I articulated my order to him and seconds later I drove to the window and got my treats. The whole experience was great. Eating ice cream while driving is delightful!

I had some time to kill and stopped in for a late lunch. In my 10 minutes inside, here is my review:
–Staff seemed polite and friendly. Most of the people working were high school or college age.
–Service was fast, and order was spot on. No adjustments needed, but then again, a hot dog and fries are kind of hard to mess up.
–Food tasted good and was served at the expected temperature.
–Dining room was clean, however, the mustard bottle could have used a good wipe down; something I don’t think it had ever had.
–It was in the 90’s outside, but nice and cool inside. Just what I was looking for.
–Nothing stood out as bad/​nothing stood out as good. In my opinion, average service that you would expect at a Dairy Queen.

This is a classic Demotte business. It’s been there for as long as I can recall, and for several years it was one of the only places to eat in the entire town. The ice cream is delicious. If you are ever in Demotte I suggest you go there. Of course if you don’t live there or know anyone who does, I highly doubt you’ll ever just happen to be in town.
