My fiancé and I literally had to cancel our contract with Larsa for our wedding reception 3 weeks before our event. As a bride that is one of the most devastating things to deal with. We booked Larsa in December for our wedding in August. In March, one of our vendors mentioned some issues clients were having with the venue and advised us to check with Larsa to avoid any conflicts. We met with Larsa’s new management who were not only incredibly rude(I actually had to ask the manager if he could please stop interrupting me) but tried to nickle and dime every single item on our contract regardless of what the contract stated. After finally coming to an agreement and redoing our contract, in July, our vendor again mentioned more issues with clients and Larsa. We met with Larsa again in July only to deal with ANOTHER manager. The new manager stated that we could not have music higher then 90 dcb which is as low as a restaurant setting. We even asked three different DJ’s who said that is not loud enough for any reception party especially with the 440 guests we were expecting. Larsa management finally agreed that 100 dcb would be ok and then the next day called and said nevermind. Also, when we first met with Larsa it was on a Saturday and when we wanted to meet with them again they said their new policy was weekdays only, so my fiancée had to take a half day and drive almost three hours from work in San Francisco to Turlock during traffic only for them to tell him we can do the contract on Saturday. After experiencing such unprofessional and rude service, and not wanting the risk of anything going wrong with our venue the day of our reception, we terminated our contract and were fortunate enough to find another venue. Even when we went to get our deposit back the manager did not even conversate or greet us anytime. This venue has horrible management which is why there is so much turn over, does not make any couple feel welcomed, will change policies last minute without informing you, and they make your overall experience inconvenient and stressful. As a bride who gave Larsa the benefit of the doubt twice and had to cancel, save yourself the headache and look for other venues in Turlock!

Seems like it’s a great place but wow the customer service is terrible. I have left 3 emails and countless messages to get a quote for a wedding and they have yet to respond! I honestly selected a different venue because I am afraid of the service I will get from them after I spend thousands of dollars. Note to ownership, have people that will respond to potential customers request.

Best banquet hall in stanislaus county! The hall is big, beautiful, and the staff is excellent. Great for booking any event! You won’t regret it!

I recently went to a wedding reception here, and I was impressed at how large the hall was and the ample parking spots. However, since the hall is so accommodating the dance floor was a little small. if they could extend it to the length of the building, that would have been great.
