Fu Lin

I’ve only ordered delivery, but so far I believe this is the best option for Chinese delivery in the entire Baton Rouge area. The food is better than ANY Chinese buffet in the area, and the friendliness is top notch. The delivery driver even returned later with a drink he forgot (not a big deal) and a few fancy packs of food for my dog.

I should’ve known better, I tried this place out two times a year or two ago and always left there angry about extreme wait times and mediocre food. But when I saw they finally added Thai dishes to their Chinese & Thai menu, I had to try… My $ 7 red curry with white rice lunch special was horrid. There was no curry smell or flavor, and no sauce of any kind present. Dry nasty looking chicken that was bright pink in color. Super spicy, like crab boil. And rubbery. I brought it back there and was informed that food can’t be returned. After I raised a small amount of hell about this for being inedible, they offered me some lo mein in exchange. I got home and opened the worst vegetable lo mein ever. I fed it to the dogs. I’ve had better from my freezer. I hope this place is a front for some illegal activity, because it’s been there for a long time, never has any cars there, has terrible food and even worse service.
