Very respectful and welcoming at front desk. Love the room was clean and wifi is free that’s a plus.

Stayed here for one night. By the looks of the outside I thought it would be a 5 star. All movie channels also. When I came in the room the towels and bed was stained and dirty. Hairs all over the pillows. Shampoo bottles half used. The water from the shower smelled like mold. Very large room but everything was just plain dirty

Arrived for our checkin about 20 minutes before time and they let us in with no problem. We were on the 4th floor 2 bed suite. It was clean, open and comfortable. We had the 2 beds, a microwave, small fridge, small coffee maker, a small sink, throw away plates, bowls and utensils, paper towels. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels for our family of 4. The pool was clean, the fitness room had a recumbent bike, elliptical and treadmill. There were towels, water fountain and a tv. Didn’t use any these during our stay. Breakfast was GREAT. Good spread complete with a pancake maker. They had 3 types of fruit juices, bagels, muffins, instant oatmeal, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, dry cereal, three types of milk to choose from, yogurt cups, coffee & hot chocolate bar & fresh cinnamon rolls. If we comeback to this area, we will definitely choose this hotel. We were very pleased. Thanks!

Where do I start. I stayed here as a business trip with several other staff and heard many uncomfortable stories the next morning. My experience went like this– First the room we were first given looked like the beds were just made up and sheets were not changed from the prior guests, the pillows were all over the bed and the teach can wasn’t emptied. I asked for another room and it was better(did have a moldy shower curtain). Another Co-worker had stained sheets and a wad of hair in his bed and an other had hair and toenail clippings in his, also said his air conditioner smelt of a dirty diaper. Another said her tv didn’t work, but she’s a reader anyway. I wanted to jump in the pool but took a look and thought otherwise, things floating in it. I could go on with the incompetent front desk staff, but I’ll take that up with Holiday Inn’s corporate office. I’ve never had a more frustrating stay with a hotel of this level

Definitely below the HolidayInn standard. Towels were grey, room was kind of clean but not fresh. Coffee maker was dirty and broken. The machines in the gym were old and not well maintained. The TV in the fitness room didn’t work at all. The pool next door was filthy. But you get what you pay for — the night was only $ 80. Not a bad deal and very close to the highway.

Review from family of five, who stayed two nights during June 2010. First, we booked through Expedia, and the suite wasn’t quite what we expected. We expected a kitchenette, two rooms, two beds and a pull-out sofa. What we got was one room, two beds, no sofa and no kitchenette. That being said, I’m not quite sure if this was the hotel’s fault or Expedia’s fault. The woman at the front desk offered no apology, and simply stated that they’d had a problem with Expedia misrepresenting the available rooms.(Fortunately, a sixth traveler that was supposed to be bunking with us didn’t arrive.) The room, such that it was, was clean and fresh. The beds were comfortable, and the WiFi and television worked well. The bathroom was larger than usual and nicely appointed with plenty of big, fluffy towels. On day two, the kids decided they wanted to use the pool. They couldn’t because it was so cold. There was no sign about the heater being broken, but it obviously was not working. The small hot tub to the side of the pool had quite a bit of nasty-looking froth in it. So, we never got to use the pool or hot tub. When we had scoped out the pool area the day before there was a rack of towels available in that room. When we went to swim, however, the rack had not been restocked. On both days there was a paper sign announcing that the fitness center was closed, so we never had opportunity to use that either. If there was one saving grace — saving this hotel from a one-star rating — it was the truly wonderful free breakfast. In addition to Holiday Inn’s signature cinnamon rolls, there was a wealth of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels and pretty much anything you’d want. Even with the great breakfast, however, this hotel did not measure up to its moderate to moderate-high price tag. Next time we’ll go elsewhere.

I will not be staying at this hotel again. After past experiences with Holiday Inn Express and a 10 ½ hour drive with an 8 month old, I truly expected better. The room description was not 100% accurate. We booked a king suite due to the two room description. We found out upon check in that two rooms really means 1 big room. Not ideal with a baby used to sleeping in her own room. We were also looking forward to taking a late swim and using the hot tub to get a little exercise for the little one and relief for mom & dad prior to bed. The hot tub was not working, and we were not informed nor was there a sign indicating this. Nothing online about this either. In addition, the pool was FILTHY. There was hair and all kinds of nasty stuff floating on the top of the water. Being from S. Texas, we are used to pools, and I would think that the health department might have a few things to say to them about their pool being in this condition. Gross!!! The room was less than fantastic. Granted it was under $ 100, but if we would have known that the pool and hot tub were in the condition they were, we would have driven a few more exits to a different location. The next morning, I informed the manager who offered no money off the room. Just an apology. Not enough, in my opinion.
