We really enjoyed Silver Spoon Café. It was one of the few restaurants where smoking is not allowed. Breakfast was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately however, it appears to have permanently closed.

Always dicey ordering a steak at a café. But I saw the NY Strip on the menu and ordered it along with the «famous gumbo». Although I do not like okra in my gumbo, it was very good. And my steak was cooked perfectly. Very tasty. I was just passing thru town, but will definitely eat here again if I find myself in Denison around lunch time
