Out of business I don’t know how to let Unilocal know that a business is closed but it is.

The Armchair has done a radical shift so that books are now only one uncrowded room, while the rest of the store is beach stuff and gift tsotschkes. What was once a decent if retail priced summer reading bookstore is now a slightly classier version of a route 28 salt water taffy and boogie board emporium… at boutique prices. Hard to recommend unless you’re desperate for a book or a beach chair, are made out of money, and are on the right side of 6a already. Sigh.

Great sales staff, cute bookstore with a small but impressive selection of books. The gift shop has some nice gifts and cards. It’s a quick in and out if you need a last minute gift.

I am so glad the Armchair Bookstore has re-opened. It is small but still has the same charm and is in the same location. They have a good selection of fiction books(best sellers etc) and children’s books and educational games. One of my favorite places to shop!

Armchair is exactly the type of small bookstore you would expect to find in Dennis Village. A good collection with emphasis on best sellers, mystery, novels(«beach books»). They don’t have much non-fiction. Staff is really friendly and the prices are decent.
