Finally got out to Casella on a Wednesday to check things out, and let me tell you… exceeded my expectations! The owner was behind the counter pouring our wines and giving a detailed explanation of each pour. We decided to do a «long» tasting, which was… all the wines(12 – 14 total). You can also select a «short», which is half(6 – 7). If you’re new to Casella, though, definitely go long. We also decided to get the antipasti tray along with the spinach and artichoke dip. Hey — no judgments please — we were drinking a lot of wine! We ended up staying for almost 4 hours! We both bought the sweet Sangiovese and the sweet Moscato(there’s also a dry option for both). Bottles were inexpensive, too! He even gave us our glasses and a tote to put the wine in. Don’t forget about the entertainment and events! Casella has live entertainment almost every weekend. There’s also a BEAUTIFUL outdoor space that is perfect for small events. Take your drink out on the deck and overlook the never-ending rolling hills of Roxford Park. It’s seriously a sight that will put you in the best mood — especially if you’re pairing it with delicious wine!
